3rd Person's Pov
Eren transformed into a Titan like a badass. Somewhere nearby, Reiner and Bertholdt were ready to transform into their Titans but, they're waiting for the right time to do it.
As Eren transformed, he used his hardening to plug up the broken gate. It was successful. Too successful. Somehow, the enemies weren't in sight.
"You did it. Believe in your own power." Mikasa said to Eren
Eren was a bit lost in his own world. He thought it was too easy. There wasn't even a single Titan in sight.
"Not yet! No matter how much you plug it, they'll break the wall as long as they live. Until we kill Reiner, Bertholdt, and any other enemies, The operation to retake Wall Maria won't end." Levi informed.
"Of course... I knew that!" Eren exclaimed.
Y/N was trailing behind Mikasa. She was a bit skeptical about the whole place. She wanted to know if they were hiding somewhere that no one could see.
On the other side of the wall, Armin and Erwin were now having a conversation about Armin's skepticism.
"I looked into it. I'm pretty sure someone was camping. The pot was cold and the lights were scattered on the ground. They were drinking something like black tea. Also, there were three cups with drops of black liquid in it. At the least, there were three people atop the wall." Armin reported
"Th-Three, you say?" One of the Soldiers stuttered
"Was the metal pot completely cool?" Erwin asked
"Yes." Armin answered
Erwin then said, "I found that odd."
Armin agreed.
"Th-The pot?"
"We charged here at full speed using horses and ODM gear. Had they noticed our approach by by sound or by sight, they'd have two minutes to react. A pot in use wouldn't cool down in just two minutes. They had to have known we were coming for five minutes or more. Meaning they've had plenty of time to prepare four us." Erwin explained
"But... how?"
"Th-There must be a scout in addition to the three in the wall... No, we have to assume there's many more enemies in hiding." Armin added
"For now, locating the enemy is our priority. Arlert... With that brain of yours, you've saved us from disaster countless of times. Right now is one of those times we need you. Take as many soldiers needed. Find out if enemies are hiding near the inner gate or not."
Erwin called out a few soldiers to help out Armin. He then announced, "As of now, you obey Armin Arlert's commands. Continue the search!"
Armin was taken aback from the announcement Erwin just said. The other soldiers immediately obeyed the command, of course.
"Roger!"
They started asking Armin on what to do now. Armin was extremely nervous. It felt like he was given the role as Commander.
"Send one group to each side of the wall! Search all the buildings and near the inner gate. Report any findings with an acoustic shell! A-All right?"
The soldiers obeyed immediately and split up, finding any clues or stuff like that.

Sorry for the shory chapter but I was forced to babysit my brother.
I swear i'll pull out an Isabella on him. The demons would probably like a 7 year old big brain brat 😩
But like, i'll probably write more. I feel like i haven't updated enough ever since Thursday.
