𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐓 had occurred after Umbridge's detention. Marina was still in horrid pain, Ron had managed to make Gryffindor keeper and tell Hermione about Umbridges' punishments, and lastly Marina had decided that she wasn't some coward and told Lavender and Pavarti, following Ron's footsteps.

Of course, Lavender bursted into tears once she had heard of Umbridge's disgusting punishment to Marina. And as for Pavarti, who didn't seem surprised, (as if she had known the entire time) the girl quickly hugged Marina.

Marina had also realized at that exact moment that Pavarti had been looking quite ill-looking lately, and wasn't sleeping very well either. Was Pavarti hiding something from her? Of course not? They were best friends.

As the redhead had finished Charms and Transfiguration, Marina was walking alone in the corridor when she had bumped into someone.

"Crap — sorry about that." Marina apologized.

"Marina? It's me, Cedric." smiled the Hufflepuff.

"Wow I didn't even bother to see. How are you? I heard you broke up with Chang over the summer." Marina said, emphasizing Chang with venom.

"Honestly...she was er...being really...clingy." Cedric answered unsure.

"What do mean?" Marina asked.

"Y'know, she wasn't ever happy. She was being jealous when I'm with my female friends. Or she was trying to make me jealous with other guys. But...Cho's a nice girl, she just was really insecure during our relationship. She was even annoyed when you and I were hanging out."

"That's just stupid. You and I are just friends, plus we're two years apart. I'm in my fifth year and your going to graduate soon. It wouldn't make sense." Marina added.

"Yeah, I'm just trying to stay away from her. She keeps on asking for me to take her back. Anyways, I should go. I gotta run to potions." Cedric said, then walked to the dungeons.

Marina then walked to quidditch practice on a warm evening to see the whole team already prepared.

"Alright Ronnie?" Marina winked as she ruffled her brother's hair on the pitch.

"Oh shut up Marina." Ron huffed.

"Ready to show us all up, Ickle Prefect?" said Fred.

"Okay everyone," said Angelina, entering from the Captain's office, already changed. "Let's get to it; Alicia and Fred, if you can just bring the ball crate out for us. Oh, and there are a couple of people out there watching but I want you to just ignore them, all right?"

"Looks like it's just Patil and Brown out there." George said.

"Hopefully it's not Chang, she's getting on my bloody nerves lately." Marina mumbled as she leaned on the broom.
