For a moment, your mind wandered with any other possibilities. Was this all a part of Namjoon's plan? Was he redirecting you to a secret location in an undercover truck? Was it perhaps Jungkook trying to help you escape the country? But neither thought you truly believed were what this was. The probability was likely that Dongnam had found you... finally.

"I said get out," the officer said again. This time letting you know he was serious.

Fuck.

Your eyes scanned the backseat of the car for anything else you could grab aside from your purse, but of course there was nothing. You reached for it anyways, but the cop gave you an instant warning to leave it. You slid across the back seat, placing your feet onto the pavement and stepped out of the car. The cop still by the van opened up the side door, while the one ordering you around grabbed a hold of your arm and clamped a handcuff over your wrist. This was going to be your only chance – you had to do something before you were completely bound.

In one swift motion, you threw your hands towards the cops face, catching his nose with the heel of your hand once, then twice. He stumbled back, letting go of the loose grip he had on your arm. You then turned and kneed him in the crotch, and he tumbled to the ground in pain. That's when you took off running.

"Hey!" you heard the other cop holler after you, followed shortly by the pounding of his footsteps running after you. You didn't have a big enough head start, and you knew it – but you had to try.

"Ah!" you yelped as he threw his body over yours and you fell face forward onto the concrete. You heard the crack of something in your body – but you couldn't feel a thing due to the adrenaline coursing through you. Beside you he lay on the ground - you rolled quickly over and wrapped the handcuffs around his neck. Pulling as hard as you could, he clawed back at you and gripped at the chain. His face became a purplish blue red – he was beginning to suffocate. You needed him to pass out before...

Clunk. Everything went black.

You woke with a start.

"There she is," you heard the muffled sound of someone speaking. You couldn't see – not quite yet. Everything was a hazy, foggy blend of dull colours and shapes. Your head was pounding, and so was your wrist. That must've been the crack you heard in the lot. The car lot.

You suddenly remembered what happened. The van; the cops; the chase. You had one of the officers pinned when everything went dark. You must've been hit on the back of the head.

"Y/N," you heard a voice calling to you. "Wake up." Something was snapping in front of your face. You stared at it until it came into focus. It was a hand. Someone was snapping their fingers at you to bring you back to consciousness. You shuffled slightly, then let out a groan as the pain flayed across your body. That's when you noticed the zip ties around your wrists, tethering you to a chair.

"Fuck," you said.

"There she is," the voice sounded again. You looked up and stared at the face and waited for it to come into focus. When it did, you were surprised to see the face of...

"Minho?" you asked. He smiled down at you, but it wasn't the warm smile you were used to getting from Minho. "Did Dongnam send you?"

"Not exactly," said Minho. "Although he did put out a contract for your hit. However - thanks to you - Dongnam isn't in charge anymore."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I mean the Cheonan have... acquired... the mess that was left behind by Dongnam."

"The Cheonan?" you awed. Had Dongnam lost that much power that his rival had already collected his infrastructure? Then something in your fuzzy head clicked. "Wait? The meeting? The shootout? Was that them?"
