You hadn't realised how much you missed the city these past three months until you returned - and then had to leave. The food, the entertainment, the diversity, the buzz in general... hell, even the water pressure of the showers felt like a luxury experience compared to the hard, sputtering demon of well water you were in right now. If you ever had the chance to return permanently, you would make a point of enjoying all those things, instead of cooping yourself up in some penthouse and hiding from the world like a mouse. Things would be different - you would have Jungkook with you, you wouldn't be avoiding the police, you wouldn't be living in constant fear of some rival gangster offing you in the middle of the street. Even after your final testimony and the end of Minho's trial - in which he inevitably was tossed into a cell for the rest of his life - you knew that fantasy was a long shot. But still... as the warm water trickled down your skin, you couldn't help but daydream that you were still in the city, in the safehouse which was your home, and outside your partner was waiting for you to take you out for a sunny, fun-filled day through the concrete jungle.
"Can I join you?" Jungkook's voice startled you from behind. You hadn't heard him enter the bathroom over the sound of the water falling over you.
You turned to look at him, and shot him a welcoming and knowing smile, "Of course."
You watched him with uninhibited want as he peeled his shirt and his pants off, tossing them on the bathroom counter, before stepping over the curb and into the shower. He pulled your soapy body into him, your breasts flattening against his pecks, as you smoothed your palms over his shoulders and behind his neck.
"It's over," he said triumphantly, it being Minho's trial. But the real it - the it where you weren't being hunted by a murder of hitmen - was still up for debate. It would probably never be over - but at least now you could put some of this behind you and start some semblance of a life together.
"So, what now, Detective?"
"Well..." he leaned in and kissed you temptingly just below your ear. "We have a couple options long term," he kissed a little lower, closer to your throat. "But in the short term..." you felt his lips now softly climbing the other side of your neck, then he murmured over your skin, "I have one idea."
You smiled, the butterflies in your belly making you near giddy. You closed your eyes and pulled him closer as his hands and mouth began to roam your body. "I hope it involves washing the stench of that courtroom off. I never wanna see that place again."
He pulled his face up from somewhere around your collarbone so he could peer down at you - his eyes twinkling and his teeth tugging his lower lip to skew his lustful grin. "It involves getting a little dirty first."
"Good," you matched his sinful tone as heat prickled through your veins.
He slipped his hand over the curves of your waist and hips, cupping your heat in his palm, and your body pulsed and tingled in delightful anticipation. "Can I kiss you here?" he asked, and you nodded in excitement. It was sweet he always asked, even though these days you'd never say no to him - and he knew that.
He stepped you backwards, until the cool tile chilled the skin at your back - then he knelt before you, while you reached for the shower's grab bar. He gripped behind your knee, hitching it over his shoulder and holding you by the thigh as he spread you slowly apart, making your everything prone to him.
"Just for a minute," you said before he began to move. "I want more than just your mouth."
He grinned a sly grin as he began rubbing your folds in a tender motion with his middle and index finger, splitting them apart to expose the nub he was aiming for - and with his mouth parted, and his tongue softly dancing against his lower lip, he leaned forward towards your junction - slow, patient, teasing - making your heart fast, your longing intolerable and your need insufferable.
