Y/n's Pov:
{A.C.}
Y/n: *whispers* Where were we in the last chapter?
Author: *whispers* Math class
Right. Math class. When it comes to math class I feel like dying. However, this is my story so I'm going to the transition to Social Studies because I can. Also, because Author-chan doesn't want to put you guys through that boring shit.
Moving on, math had just ended and we are transitioning into Social Studies as I watch the door. I have been waiting for Tsukishima to come to my class for translating and the transition is 5 minutes long.
Within the three minutes of transition, Tsukishima barrages right into the classroom and scans the room for me. The teacher is out of the room, trying to prepare the next lesson when Tsukishima walks in.
Everyone in the room is moving around and putting things away but when he shows up at the door everyone's eyes avert to him. The girls are swooning, the boys are envying. "TsUkKi" I mock him.
Everyone turns to me and looks at me weird. Eyebrows are furrowed, eyes are widened, mouths are open. Many things are happening at once.
"Cut it out" he chuckles as he walks over to me. My seat is right in the back and it's a double desk for my previous translator. He places his bag on the back of the chair and sits down.
The room cools down a bit and everyone isn't as hectic because the teacher could walk in at any minute.
And I was right. The teacher does walk in at a quick minute. He begins to teach and I don't understand any word of it. All the words that I'm able to pick up are: like, as, creation, and China.
However, I don't need to understand, as much as I try to pick up new words and things, I just can't really do it.
That's why Tsukishima is here. His purpose for being here is to convert the notes on the board and to translate anything that I can't understand in the class in general.
My notebook is out and I'm trying to write out the notes on the board. I attempt to copy every stroke with the chalk and I try to space my characters out evenly but things are not coming together.
Tsukishima also has his own notebook out, listening to the teacher for all the information. He's quickly writing everything down without missing a beat.
It's a pain if I'm being honest. I'm in a different country with a completely different language that I don't understand. It's dreadful.
"You okay?" Tsukishima asks me as he shoves my shoulder lightly. It seems that I zoned out in the middle of class.
I look back him from my day dream and nod my head. I focus more on what the teacher was saying. Although I don't understand any of the shit he is saying but I listen so I can pick up on more of the words, you know?
Having Tsukishima here is a bit weird but we don't talk much if we don't have to so the air isn't uncomfortable.
When we do interact we get along quite well. I mean we only walked down the hall together and ate lunch together but none the less, we were acquaintances.
Being around Tsukishima is quite a different. He seems like he would be the one to make jokes all the time and not dad jokes like make fun of you jokes but hey, I do that too, I'm just more quiet about it.
I, on the other hand am sarcastic as fuck and used humor to cope with trauma.
