[My singing Monsters] The Trip To Plant Island

Chapter IV - The darkness

After jumping onto the island, Mason and Kayla started looking around. After some walking they heard a deep, soft voice singing from the giant grey blobs surrounding them. Because the island is pitch black they couldn't see anything, but after some time, they saw a glowing figure in the sky, flying around them singing ""Oooh, Ooh OooOOOooh" over and over, changing its pitch from high to low over time, as well as changing it's voice from soft to sharp over time. Wierd.

They followed it, but after some time, they fell into a hole in the ground and got attacked by small insects with spiky hairs on their arms and legs, which gave them a lot of scars before finally shaking them off. 

They tried finding a way to climb upwards, but they couldn't see anything except the lightbulbs on the insects that were chasing them. 

The fiddlement that was flying around them got even closer to show how it's enjoying it, but it got too close, as Mason jumped and grabbed its skirt. 

The fiddlement screamed and tried to shake him off, but after they got altitude, he grabbed Kayla, dropped her on top of the island, then punched the fiddlement's head until it broke.

He then jumped off, and looked at how the rest of the fiddlements body fell down into the hole and broke. Kayla looked at it for a second, before bursting in tears. She couldn't believe that from one small mistake, her whole mansion was destroyed and she had to leave the island she lived on for the majority of her life.

She cried until she couldn't stand anymore, while Mason hugged her the whole time. Don't worry, we're going to get your island back, and I'm very sorry that your mansion was destroyed, I didn't plan it, it was my friend who-" said Mason before getting interrupted.

"Don't try to act like a good person! You tricked me! YOU TRICKED MEEE!!! WE WERE SUPPOSED TO TALK AND STUFF BUT YOU ORDERED YOUR STUPID NAKED FRIENDS TO KILL ALL MY SERVEANTS AND DESTROY MY MANSION!! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY ANYMORE, YOU RUINED MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!" yelled Kayla while crying. 

Mason knew he had to do something, but it's a pretty big thing going from a princess to basically nobody. He didn't think she would forgive him very soon, so he just tried not to think about it. He then quietly asked himself why he cared, and stopped hugging Kayla, which made Kayla look at him, then slowly get up. After some walking in the darkness they felt like someone stared at them. They looked around, but couldn't see anyone. 

They then saw a lightbulb which had a monster behind it, as it was illuminated from the back. They looked behind the lightbulb, and saw a monster with a big eye behind it. It started staring at them, and they stared back. The bottom half of  it's body, which was previously completely illuminated, started fading away. Instead, it's head started to glow, and it started making noises.

 The monster looked at its dress, and hit it with a tentacle a couple times. Monsters learn new songs very easily, and with connecting fiddlements and fluoresses songs Mason started singing the melody he believed was his. "Bam, bom bam!" sang Mason. Fluoress slowly blinked in agreement. 

Kayla joined in too, singing her "Dum diddly DUmDum Dum dUm". The fluoress was very happy with their singing. After they finished the song, Kayla and Mason turned to leave. Fluoress took one of her tentacles out of her dress and gripped Mason's throat, strangling him. Mason tried punching her, but she just took out another tentacle and strangled him even harder. 

Kayla knew she had to save him, but doubted for a moment. He ordered all of his friends to destroy her life, he's a bad person. She started frowning and was ready to walk away, but then remembered she's not a bad person. 

Candelavra always used to tell her all monsters all equally as important, whether they have one or five elements, and that she's supposed to help any monster in need, even if they're an enemy.
