Fallout: The Man Who Stopped Time

Before I went to The commonwealth, Kath came up to me and noticed me writing something on a holotape as we were preparing to test the Time Machine "The Chromotone", "What Are you writing there?" she asked peering her curious eyes into my PIPboy. "Just a poem, Wanna hear it?" I said as I started.

"Floating softly to earth,
so softly as to seem serene,
but these particles carry,
the end to all our dreams,

they come to rest,
on grass and tree,
God forbid,
they Should contaminate me

I must seek shelter,
in great haste,
for i shall carry on,
The Human race"

As we cut to the present time, we were huddled on a rooftop trying to hide from a giant behemoth calling himself the Swan, The vertibird burning in the swamp, was what started drawing the creature away, I peered up above the Balcony as it started to smell us, "Human flesh, Smell..Here" it said as it once again came closer and closer, KD huddled to the chromotone, still attached to the harness of her parachute, as we were running out of hope, suddenly a radio whirled and fuzzed with a strange voice buzzed in and out of the station distance "You Listeners ready? It seems someones feed the Swan, Now the Silver Shroud is coming to save the day!" The voice said as from a higher rooftop dressed in a dark black overcoat and a black hat was a figure holding a submarine gun as he fired shots to the swan crippling its arms as he jumped to our rescue "Youre both new here, I am the Silver Shroud Defender of Justice!" Said the man who grabbed the parachute and chucked the chromotone to me, he grabbed both of us and released the parachute flying us towards diamond city and beyond towards a less popular town called Goodneighbour.

One of my suitcases attached itself onto my legs like a lasso, as the swan roared and feeling the defeat of one of justice and black leather. as we were saved and floated down towards a safe location at a red rocket station.
"You guys are lucky to be alive, The Swan aint one to take Hostages or tresspassers" before he was about to leave my suitcase sprung open and all my clothes and papers flew out and standing there with her shoulders and back sore from traveling: Katherine.

"you stowaway how long you been in that suitcase I told you to go back home to your mum, The worlds too dangerous for a teenager" I angryily said, "I wanted to come on your journey, i throught it would be fun" Kath said "Your mum wont be happy, but if you want to continue being my luggage carrier theres no stopping you" I said inviting her into the team, The shroud took note on Katherines dress and discovered that she was a Mystery of Mystery. "Kent would want to see this" He said, "You are coming with me for the shroud demands you attend his invitation to his lair!" So sayeth the shroud he spoke. "Good because i require information, My name is Greebly a scientist, KD Inkhart is my College and this Girl is a Mystery of Mystery" I said, "and this strange looking backpack on you, What is it?" He said breaking his character "Its the Chromotone a time machine" I said as the shroud didnt believe a word after that "Ive seen deathclaws and Mutated Deer why would I believe a word you say" Said the shroud as I grabbed his arm tightly and pushed my machine making us disapear into the future and reappear into the present "Believe us now?" I said letting go of his arm, The shroud lost his posture for two minutes then adjusted himself and tried to muster his pride with his character again "The Shroud demands you come with him to his Lair! He said, we all turned confused and the Shroud then spoke again breaking character "Look will you just come to see Kent already?" So off we went into the commonwealth.

The Radios Crackled and rattled around us like a warning of its new visitors, we are tourists in the Commonwealth, where fresh vegetation covers buildings and roads, as nuclear storms wrapped the sun coming from the glowing sea, This is an enviroment of technology. and secrets, there are eyes everywhere and they are always watching you. The Silver Shroud escorted us to a lonely radio Station that sat on the borders of Diamond City. And inside sat a Ghoul at the Radio

"Next time We see the Silver Shroud investigate Far Harbour, dont forget Listeners to tune into Channel 314!" The Ghoul said, "Kent Got you some guests" Said the Silver Shroud taking off his hat showing his face "Clarkson! when have i told you not to reveal your face in front of strangers! gotta remember to stay in character, wheres your spirit into the role!" said the Ghoul but the shroud wasnt listening his mind had been bewildered by time travel and he passed out on the sofa, Kent turned and saw the mysteries of mysteries outfit his eyes wildened and mouth dropped then grew excited and jumped "The sisterhood lives! tell me who runs it now? Damn the Silver Shroud and the Mysteries and Mysteries in the same room wearing their costumes this could make stan lee cry!" Said the ghoul excaiming Katherines dress she pouted and turned away and slapped him, "Forgive me I am kent Connenly I am the Silver shroud radio I helped a man in the past start up the sisterhood, you should have seen it" Kent said opening his hands like he was counting the stars.

"Well this is the New West Virgina, the game has changed, and so has the world its fractions broken in two, The Settlers and the Raiders and Now with the Brotherhood taking up base everyone is now on edge with what they bring, my opinion? Calamity in a Nuka Bottle" I said
"My name is Mr Greebly, This here is KD Inkhart my College and this is Katherine a mystery of Mystery" I introduced ourselves.

"What do you want from me? Im just a Radio Station" Said Kent, Clarkson woke up and Looked at us "you better show him your invention" he said "We are Time Travelers, We have our invention : The Chromoton" I said as Kent looked at the machine and then peered at KD inkharts badge "Youre from the Guild of Those historians aint you? I have a friend who works in diamond city that can assist you however it cost you caps, and im sure she aint selling her synth" Said Kent as he was slapping The silver Shroud to wake up "Take Clarkson his skills can prove as a guide to the commonwealth ill keep in touch via the radio for any updates just tune into Channel 319 for The Silver Shroud" Said Kent giving us a map "Ask for Takahashi for directions to Nicks place" Said Kent, As The shroud stood up and joined our company.

"Man if you got a time machine maybe you can fix my face" Kent said and then i put a huge force stop on that, "Paradoxes basically changing time comes at a price and if you pay it, comes with consquences, we basically use the machine now for travel between time and prolonging a future" Said KD Inkhart "Youre a Historian what brought you to a teenage girl, A Scientist and a Silver shroud breaking his character?" Said Kent as Clarkson took offense to that "Hey! I played detective hat for you and dressup in the other at least give me some dignity, I have a Son to feed" Said Clarkson as he put on his hat again, "Well Im here for documenting these discoveries with my RDPB(Recording Device PipBoy) and also fighting an enemy that could doom our planet in 200 years" Inkwell  said showing a fist of her device with passion.

As we set off, A man with a Labcoat watched us leave the Building dressed in an enclave badge he tailed us warning his superiors of us. "Sir, Greebly hes Alive Just as the rumors say and hes not alone, Hes got the Mystery of Mystery, The Silver Shroud and A Guild of Antiquties with him he could learn our plans" Said the Enclave Scientist A man sitting on a desk with a Uniform enscribed as a Raven Claw peered, as his hands were only seen on the desk his face hidden from view, he hung up on the Phone and he went to the intercom "Call the Cleaners, Use Force if Nessasasy in Diamond City" He Said 

A man ran into his Office saluting with a Fourth Finger Salute "Captain Rook, Of the 4th Division of Instriute, Mr President The Experiments are coming along soon the Vault shall soon be breached" The Captain said as sitting in the desk by him was the Head of Security "How dare you barge into here with that tone, fall back into line now" Said the Head of Security, but the president Wrinkled his smile to him and flaunted his hand to send him away he looked out the Window staring at a Glass dome with Dozens of Scientists calibrating a strange machine.
