A few hours later I stopped off at The Hardware store buying the parts as a Chinese brushed past be carrying a paper bag full of old food, as he was knocked to the ground the people around me grinned and shook their heads but I lend down and helped him pick up his food as frightened as he was, the war was built on progress and our fears on losing to an invisible enemy, War only shakes our changes and woes we put inside the machines we build, cities could be created by a single acorn seed, or doom could change our lives by uttering a single word and as I wished him best of luck on his way I could only hope that our future we live on changes how not only to use our minds to destroy but to have a commitment to fix the damages of our machines.

I noticed then before heading back to my own time the last sun setting for the future, but suddenly something that wasn't expected in the distance the army rolls in with search papers with my face, as the citizens point at me, one solider approaches me and asks me to follow him to the jeep, as another pointed his rifle at me, I head with them, hoping that my time machine will last a while longer.

A young man with glasses and a yellow trench coat guarded by more military slaps me in the face roughly as he grazed my cheek, "You foolish man our size monitors went crazy at this location you time traveled here from the future didn't you?" He spoke sharply, I shook his coat and the army knocked me out and shoved me inside their jeep. I heard only the crackle of the road and the sound of mumbling of what could only be my punishment for traveling to the past. We drove for 5 hours to the whitespring golf club: A large and famous club known to have the united States presidents come and play here, they delivered me underground to an old but furnished bunker with armed robots and men inside the strange man woke me up "congratulations you will see the president of the United States"

The Enclave is the American Underbelly Government they are a group of scientists and minds that came together to control the population and the war from a safe distance under Whitespring, only a select few know of them as a rumor, and it better stay that way unless you want to have your own prison hole and throw away the hole. As I was being lead down black and gold carpet the American Flag as proud as it can be shone overhead a desk with the mastermind Thomas Elkhart "You are excused officers" he said writing in a book, as the two officers clicked their boots and walked out. Elkhart offered me a seat "As far as we know you're working currently in Boston not arriving here until tomorrow here you are" he said holding a screen of myself walking up towards my old yellow Sudan SUV "now how can you be here when you're there? You traveled from the future haven't you?" He said turning the screen to a man smiling on the monitor
"Meet MODUS Our brain, he told us that you came in a time machine where is it?" He said I quickly tried to jump the question,

"Sir, I only came here to watch the final days of our world change forever, I long to return back to my time after tomorrow and be free of the mess" I said honestly

Elkhart didn't like my charity he grabbed a gun from his drawer
"What is it the future on? Yours?" He said
I start sweating under the brow as he started walking slowly towards me "Speak what is my future"

"By tomorrow at noon, Three nukes will fall on three states Boston, Washington DC and here in Appalachia you will only try to test the faults of nuclear emissions on building on it creating the scorched plague destroying the surviving population and mutating bats turning them into Scorchbeasts that's your future, you coward" I said.

Elkhart clicked grew more wild in his eyes like a dog, "What's another body among foundations?" He said but as he fired towards me I dodged using plate armor underneath my clothes and grabbed an invention I stowed away a small syringer and pricked him in the head making his bones lose all strength and he fell to the ground not moving "Why did you tell me this?" He said with pain in his eyes.

"I could kill you right now but that would affect the next generation of men and women Elkhart, our time is dying our technology with fail us and our war will wipe everything we believed in out, and you will lead death and chaos into that next world for it to happen, soon people will return here a new future they forge themselves" I said while grabbing out a key.

A flash of light buzzed the Office as my time machine appeared I walked inside "Your memory will be wiped as long as all who played witness to my arrival" he clambered towards his gun as I shut the door and he shot twice at my door as it disappeared another ray of blue light rang across the bunker erasing any memory of me, as I left Elkhart woke up wondering at his desk "MODUS Report!" he instructed, MODUS smiled and did a full damage report "Nothing to Report Sir".
