Annabeth's P.O.V:
Percy was late. Again. It was lunch, and I'd just finished Maths, and was currently sat on my own at a table. It wouldn't be so bad if some of the others were here as well, but it was just me. And I must have looked like a complete idiot to anyone looking.
"Hey Annabeth. What's up?" I hear the familiar voice of Leo Valdez as he approaches and sits down opposite me, along with some girl. And judging from the way she was looking at him, Leo Valdez had an admirer. He noticed me looking and decided to speak up. "Annabeth, this is Daniela. Daniela, this is Annabeth."
"Nice to meet you Daniela." I say, even though she is glaring at me. Does she think I'm competition or something. I refocus my attention to Leo. "Have you seen Percy?"
"I saw him before our last class, but otherwise no sorry. He had P.E though. He's probably just changing." Leo adds, seeing my glum expression. I nod, as Nico shuffles in next to me.
"Hey Nico." I say. He doesn't answer. "You okay? How was your last class?"
"It was fine." He answers, returning to picking at his lunch. I decide that there's something up with him, and am certain to figure out what, but before I can a flustered Piper runs
up to the table.
"What's up Beauty Queen?" Leo asks. Piper glares at the nickname, but answers.
"Monsters... corridor... Jason... holding it off... help." She manages to get out. Leo, Nico and I immediately spring to our feet.
"Where? Have you seen Percy? Does he know?" I ask, and Piper shakes her head.
"Haven't seen him. But we need to help Jason. I'm not sure if he can hold them off for long." We nod, and start to follow Piper out. Daniela grabs Leo by the arm.
"What's happening? Where are you going?" She asks. Leo gets out of her grip but smiles at her.
"Don't worry. Just stay here." He says, and we run into the hallway, where Jason is fighting.
