Chapter 4

(JOSH'S P.O.V) 

i watched lilliana sleep and it made me feel finally at peace. i felt proud of making that move, yet i still had worry that she wanted nothing to do with me after tonight. "josh?" i heard daniel call out. "shhh." i said with a finger over my lips. he smiled and closed the door. "little lilly." i said quietly before falling asleep to the sound of the waves outside her balcony.

"josh? josh." i heard someone call out as i opened my eyes. i felt wightless and knew it was a dream. "hmmm?" i asked out. "happy birthday daddy!" a little girl shouted. "melia dont jump on your father." lilliana said from the doorway.

huh. wait lilliana and i had a baby?! oh my god im not ready for one, im only twenty four and two how the fuck did we if we only met like two days ago?! wait then again it's a dream, and this little girl looks so beautiful..like her. mom.

"morning sweetie." i said with a smile. "daddy come and see what mommy and i made you!" she squealed while getting off the bed and running out the door. "what?" i asked. "you dont remember it's your birthday? alright dun, no more backflips off the drums." lilliana said while sitting next to me on the king size bed. "well uh heh alright lills. so um what did my uh wife get me?" i asked kinda still lost. "hmmm well melia's going to her mimi's house tonight and we will have this house all alone...and maaybe we can play some games." she says quietly into my ear in a seductive tone, making me excited sexually. i then slowly rested my hand on her thigh and felt her get onto my lap. i felt her deeper curves from pregnancy and raising our im assuming five year old daughter. "oh yeah?" i asked before kissing her. "daddy?" we heard melia ask. making us both jump. "sweetie, we'll be right there." lilliana said as she looked at the little girl. "okay." melia said as she walked away. "oh amelia." lilliana said. "amelia?" i whispered. "you sure you're alright? you seem so confused." lilliana said. "uh just woke up all groggy. heh, concerts you know?" i asked. she gave me an arched eyebrow and got off my lap. "alright. well get washed up." lilliana said before walking out of the room. 

"uh!" i muttered out while waking up. i turned and saw lilliana laying there dead asleep. "oh my god." i said quietly. "hmm. josh?" i heard lilliana ask quietly. "huh, oh god lills im sorry. i didnt mean to wake you." i said while rubbing her arm. "what time is it?" she asked. "six." i said. i then heard the waves and looked outside the balcony. "wanna see something beautiful?" i asked her. she nodded and wiped her eyes. i then picked her up out of bed with the blanket wrapped around her since around this time the mornings in california are a bit chilly. "here." i said as i sat next to her. 

(LILLIANA'S P.O.V) 

i looked at the beautiful colors bloom from the horizon. purples, oranges and slight shades of blue. "wow." i said quietly while still wrapped in my blanket. "it's so beautiful." i cooed. then josh pulled me into a hug and made me feel content. the view, the sounds and the cuddling just made it all better. "lills?" i heard my brother call out as the sun rose to the breeze. "hmm?" i called out. "ah, the sunrise. it's so beautiful this morning isn't it sweetie?" he asked before giving me a hug. "yes it is, so beautiful." i said before leaning on josh. "well im going to the market, you want to come lills? i think you would like it." my brother asked. "oh yeah, sure. let me get freshened up." i said. my brother nodded and walked away. "thank you josh." i said with a smile. "oh no problem." josh replied. i nodded and got up to get ready for the day.

"wow so many colors." i said as i looked at the blooming horizon. "well it's nice to see that you really like the colors. so what did you really want for your professions?" my brother asked. i sighed and thought hard about it lately. maybe culinary isnt for me. i really like the arts of writing and photography since i've been up watching sunsets and rises lately. "well im actually going to go for photography and maybe a bit of psychology and journalism." i stated before picking up a blood orange. "oh well thats interesting. i hope you like it all honey." my brother said before walking ahead of me. i sighed and felt as if my brother wasnt so happy about my choice.
