"Surrender to Kotori-chan, please."
Like a lion waiting for roaring, Yukinori cried. He had tried not to cry for all of his life, but this was the first time he did it.
"That's a... form... of... betrayal... And I... will... NEVER FORGIVE IT!"
A shout made by Yukinori. He wanted to ease this pain, but he couldn't. He had suffered all of his pain himself. He rarely shared his pain with other people, even with his sister.
"Yukinori, this game is so meaningless, so winning at this time won't solve it." Maki's voice felt so regretful as if she had made that fault.
"Meaningless?" Yukinori couldn't control his anger. "Before this Duel started, what did you say? You said that I had to win the duel to prove my innocence, so I must win this duel, because I'm not related to the evil!"
"Hey, Yukinori-kun. Listen to me. Although you haven't ever shared to me the past story, from some of your friends, I know it. I know your feeling now. But please, surrender the Duel. Continuing this Duel may do more harm than good. Is it pleasant to lose your childhood love by winning such a meaningless Duel?", Mayuko advised him, calmly and sweetly.
Yukinori closed his eyes. He looked back to his childhood, when he was fond of the music of μ's so that there was about 45 minutes of these songs in his one-hour playlist. He rewinded to the time when he liked hanging Kotori's poster on the wall of his room. And then, he looked at his opponent. It was Kotori, his love in the childhood.
"Yukinori, you're a brave man for fighting against me to prove your innocence. But now, you don't have to. You will be braver if you surrender the duel. Be courage!"
"BE COURAGE!", all of μ's members cheered him, together. Yukinori had a reason to make his own decision.
"I accept to forfeit the Duel, but even if I lose the game, I'm not THE CAUSE OF ALL THINGS!!!!!"
Suddenly, a storm of power, truely the storm of darkness, raised up around him. It looked like he might be vanished after the duel. Kotori slightly thought about it. She scared. If it happened, she had no choice for rolling back and fixing her own mistake.
"Someone help him!"
With calm, Honoka suggested Kotori: "Do you have any "Totem of Undying" card? You can use it to save him. During the disaster in the tournament, I saw some people were going to be vanished but they survived due to having that card."
Kotori looked at her bag. There were two of them. She took one, revealed it and announced: "Totem of Undying, save him!"
Another spiritual voice raised.
"You don't need to use it. The God has observed all things and now he is saving him. Don't worry."
The storm disappeared, leaving Yukinori laying on the ground.
