Yedam was known for being a bundle of Sunshine in YGE (YG Entertainment). He was the little boy who joined Kpop Superstar Season 2 when he was around 12 or 13 years old. He was this happy kid who loves to smile at anyone who meets his eyes, anyone in the company who he bumps with, he knows them or not, he would always smile at them brightly. He is a bit shy but smiling is something he would not be selfish of, he would be quiet at first but when he feels comfortable with someone he would be this jolly kid who will exude a positive aura around him. He was so small then that everybody loves babying him and adores him. No one in the company doesn't know the infamous Bang Yedam, but that was then, Yedam is 18 yrs old now he's been a trainee under YG up until now, He was part of the Silverboys which YG is planning to debut, no definite date but they were formed to debut, however, things changed a year ago.
The group changed, and so did Yedam after that said incident, He was no longer the jolly, energetic, positive kid like he used to, everybody slowly notices the change in Yedam. He doesn't talk too much, you wont see that genuine sweet smile he has, he doesn't socialize the way he would before. He became cold & distant, to others, he is still close with his groupmates however they can still feel the change in Yedam, his sunshine is gone. Although he changed, it never changed him being the musical genius he is, he is still the same when it comes to music or anything related to it, that's why there were no complaints from the company's main producer Mr. Yang however he still worries for the boy he is like one of his sons, everyone in YG Ent. considers each and everyone family.
Mr. Yang is a father figure to everyone in the company so as a father he is hoping that the old Yedam would come back soon the boy has a promising future ahead of him and he is one of the people who doesn't want that to see the boy crumble before the boy's dream even comes true.
AT THE NEW YG BUILDING
It's been months since the main producer decided to do a survival program for the next debuting group after BLACKPINK, however, Mr. Yang is undecided of how many he will decide to debut in the said group, He already has 5 people who are for sure to debut, he is thinking of adding however he cant still make up his mind of how many he will add. He asked her secretary to call the manager he had assigned to Team A, all the boys have a schedule for a recording, some of them are needed for demos and some to collaborate with other artist at YG and to be back up vocals too. The manager arrived at the office after a few minutes, Mr. Yang immediately told her of the boys' schedule and also he mentioned about what he is planning for the boys, after a few more minutes the manager had nodded and said her goodbye to the main producer and then started to head on out the door before she opened the door Mr. Yang asked "how is Yedam doing?" the manager raises his head with a bitter smile on her face, "He is still the same, nothings change." she said. With that, Mr. Yang understood what she meant.
The boys were at the dance studio except for Doyoung since he is still at school, they were about to start practicing for the monthly assessment when their manager opened the door. She immediately informed that Yedam and Hyunsuk were being called to the recording studio. Then she extended her arms handing Junkyu and Jihoon a sheet of paper with lyrics for each of them.
"Study this song and sing it in 4 different genres both of you will record a demo for that song, we need at least 4 different types," she said then she left the room.
The boys are used to this already, sometimes they are being called to collaborate with the other artists in the company, sometimes they were asked to do a demo as well, sometimes they were also asked to do back up as well, most of the time Yedam was the one being called to do this and the boys understand, they know how capable yedam is, they all acknowledge him as a genius that's why they call him "God Yedam". Although Yedam doesn't like being called that he got used to it now. The boys don't envy each other thus, they support each other wholeheartedly like what a family is supposed to, that's why up until now they worry about Yedam the most since they were all there when Yedam was his old self and they were there also to see how Yedam changed into what he is now.
