Chapter 6 - Despair Reset

I got up from my rest, it was the day after James' trial and both his and Carly's words have stuck with me, it must've stuck with everyone else too as when I arrived at the cafeteria they were all there with motivated faces.

Mia: if it isn't our appointed leader, last to get in as always huh

Vesta: least he didn't sleep in, not like I think any of us could after all this

Amber: so what's the plan Bryan?

Bryan: the plan is to do exactly what James wanted us to do, take the fight to the mastermind, face them head on.
And finally escape the academy

Callum: good plan leader, now where do we start?

Bryan: ...uhh

Vesta: there goes the confidence

Callum: no offence but I saw that coming

I suppose we never did get a starting point

Bryan: well since we beat another trial...I'm sure Monokuma will tell us what's opened up

Kuma: that I will buckaroo

Vesta: only makes sense at this point huh

Kuma: well I have to admit I'm impressed by all of you, surviving as long as you have is quite the feat

Amber: you can stop the act Monokuma, now tell us. What is your plan?

Kuma: mannnn I thought we were chums, after all we've been through I thought we could have a bit of banter, you wouldn't mind that right?

Mia: as much as it would be interesting, I think we all have a goal in mind, to find out who you are

Kuma: you know what, that's fair enough. How about this then? Since Hope's peak only has five floors I don't have a floor to open, so instead I will open up every room that was previously locked

Amber: that would be the two ultimate labs and the two rooms on the top floor

Kuma: correct again, however I will only do this if you agree to my terms

Bryan: what are your terms?

Kuma: I give you one last trial, in it you must figure out the following: your memories of your school life, who of you is the odd one out and who's the mastermind of the killing game. If you do all that you'll have to face the mastermind of this killing game, and after that maybe you'll be free puhuhu

Amber: if I may ask what happens if we don't figure this out?

Kuma: simple enough, I'll count that as a win of the mastermind and everyone else will be executed

Vesta: all of us?

Kuma: well yeah, think of uncovering the mastermind the same way as figuring out the blackened

Amber: last question, what do you mean by the odd one out of us?

Kuma: well I suppose I could help there abit, there's one thing that this student has about them that no one else does

Mia: they must know that they have this, otherwise it seems a little unfair

Kuma: fair point, look all I can tell you is it's not the obvious differences like Amber not knowing her talent. It still could be her that's the odd one out but that's not the thing that makes it her

Callum: seems clear enough, so everyone shall we figure this out?

We all nodded

Kuma: I can't wait for the final class trial puhuhu
