A/N Hey readers, I'm sorry for taking a week to update but my school just started again since last Monday so I had to adjust to my 'normal' routine once again. Anyway that's enough of my life story, let's begin!

This scene takes place when Asad was leaving his house to go to Mangalpur for his ammi's close friend's daughter's wedding (that was long!) but then Dilshad tries to convince him to take Zoya alongside him, saying she would love to the new village and attend a wedding, Asad refuses.
Asad to Dilshad: (annoyed) Agar woh iss duniya me akhiri insaan hogi na, tab bhi ne iski saat nahi chaloonga!
Zoya walks in the living room having accidently hearing their conversation.
Zoya: Mr Khan. Agar aap is duniya me akhiri insaan hoge na, tab bhi me aap ke saat nahi chaloonga!
Dilshad looks down knowing what is going to come. Asad looks away half embarrassed he heard his comment, half annoyed by her existence. Zoya walks up to them and folds her arms like Asad.
Asad: Shukr hai Khuda ka, ke kisi baat pe humara khayalaat milte hai.
Zoya: (smiles and looks towards Dilshad) Phuphi, issi baat pe ek sher arz hai:
(Typical Asad rolls his eyes)
Marne ke baad Heaven deke, har kisi ka mannat hai,
Marne ke baad Heaven deke, har kisi ka mannat hai,
Aapke ke bina Bhopal mein theen din, Bhopal to jannat hai!
Asad looks away irated. Dilshad fails to hide her grin!
Zoya: (grinning) Shukria, shukria, shukria!.. Aapko pata hai Mr Khan, in theen din me aap Bhopal nahi rahenge na, yaha pe jannat hogi!
Asad retorts: Aur aap ke bina theen din jannat se bhi barkar (more) hogi Mangalpur mein. Miss Farooqi
Zoya mentally scowls at him and looks at Asad as if he had committed treason.
Asad: (grabs his suitcase and monotonically) Allahafiz ammi.
He turns towards left walking to the door and Zoya turns towards the right walking towards her room. Dilshad looks at them both leaving her like 🤷🏽♀️ and facepalms.
