Zoya's Shayari

Asad ka mobile

This is the scene the day after Zoya fixed Asad's mobile phone (that she broke) with selloptape and gave it back to him. If you remember Zoya had put a voice lock on his phone so that whenever he wanted to open/use his phone he would have to say "I'm sorry Zoya" 😂. At the dining table with Dilshad, Najma, Asad and Zoya...

Asad is eating then he sees his coat hanging off the chair next to Najma in an odd angle so he asks Najma to fix it. Zoya watches this and mentally scowls at Mr OCD Ahmed Khan. They look at each other and Zoya decides to annoy him.

Zoya: (smiling mischievously) Phuphi ek sher ho jaye?

Poor Dilshad given no time to response just turns towards her and Asad rolls his eyes. Najma intently listens to her.

Dheere nazar se deke, toh aashiq ghayal ho jata hai,

Dheere nazar se deke, toh aashiq ghayal ho jata hai

Bina mobile ke insaan

Asad looks at her-

Immobile ho jata hai!

Zoya: Shukria, shukria, shukria!

Dilshad and Najma, although oblivious to the situation between Asad and Zoya, knew something was up and that was obvious as Asad was restraining himself from saying something only because of his ammi.

Dilshad: (forcedly chukles) Sher bohot aacha ta, ab woh choro, kuch kao.

Zoya: (looks at Asad's face and tries not to burst out in laughter) Yeah..

Dilshad: Asad aaj tum ghar jaldi aa jaana, shaam me Shahid bhai ka ghar jaana hai.

Asad: Actually ammi, afternoon mein mujhe bohot important meeting hai toh me nahi aapaongi.

Then Asad's phone starts ringing and Zoya's ears perk up, he glares at her and doesn't accept the call. Zoya goes back to eating while Asad throws her a loathsome glare. Their home telephone starts ringing.

Dilshad: Najma zara jaakar dekho kiska phone aaya hai.

Najma goes to recieve the phone and puts it back down after 2 minutes. When she come back to the dining table Dilshad asks: Kiska phone ta?

Najma: Bhaijaan aap ke liye ta, apne office se. Woh keh rahe te ki aap apna phone answer nahi kar rahe hein. (She sits down and continues eating)

Zoya half-smirks at Asad while he is having a hard time keeping his anger at bay. Dilshad does notices nothing but only gives Asad a weird look.

Zoya: (in fake sincerity) Haan.. me bhi notice kar rahi hoon, aap apna phone answer nahi kar rahe hein. (Asad looks towards her like: oh really I wonder why) By the way, bohot simple hai, bas woh password enter karlo and it's done. 

Asad looks away and his phone starts ringing again, this time Dilshad says something.

Dilshad: Asad, phone uthao.

Asad realises he has no other option and says: Ji ammi, (looks at Zoya like he wants to murder her) excuse me.

 When he is a metre away from the table he whispers to his phone: I'm sorry Zoya

Dilshad stops the spoon mid-air and her eyes widen in shock, Najma also stops eating then her mind clicks and she suspiciously looks at Zoya, Dilshad also looks at Zoya who puts on a 'I-am-totally-innocent' face.

Zoya: Relax, mene sirf iske phone me ek verbal password lock kiya hai (she gets up and grabs her Ipad)

Dilshad: (questioningly) Aur woh password hai kya?

Zoya: Woh password hai (in a fake sorry voice) "I'm sorry Zoya".]

She laughs and walks off leaving  scared Najma and Dilshad who facepalms.

Dilshad: Ya Allah is ghar me kisi na kisi ka khoon toh zaroor hoga...

Meanwhile, with Asad on the phone...

Zoya, who was walking to her room with an apple in her hand, heard Asad speaking angrily over the phone and realised it was because of her and the password she had set.

Asad: What do you mean password change nahi ho sakta. Aap technological department ka head hai, aapko to patan hona chahiye!

Zoya giggles at his frustration.

Caller: I'm sorry sir lekin jisne ye password set kiye hai, woh technology ka mahaguru hai, usne apne voice se ek lock set kiya hai, ab sirf woh hi kol (open) sakta hai. (Asad ends the call)

Zoya bursts out laughing then he turns around and sees her so she stops laughing but still has a smile spread across her face. Asad looks at her whilst she walks to her room in helplessness and annoyance.
