(Deku POV)
Everything was going great! Honestly, I'm surprised we were able to pull it off. Mina's group were able to make all the food without making such a mess, Iida's group were able to do the decorations (with my help of course), and Hagakure's group ended up helping set up the table where the food was gonna go, and the games that Kirishima and Kaminari were oh so excited for.
It was currently 3:05pm and everything was set up. Everybody had changed into their party clothes and finishing up. I sighed contently. Not to brag, but I'm probably the best boss out there. I thought to myself. I was just walking around the huge house, making sure that everything was perfect until-
"COME BACK HERE DENKI!" I heard someone yell.
"NOT WHEN YOUR FUCKING CHASING ME WITH A KNIFE!" I heard denki scream.
I sighed, rubbing my temples. I guess there good behavior wasn't gonna last long anyways. I ignored there screams and evil laughs and continued to check the place.
"AGHHH MINA NOO IM TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" Kaminari screamed.
"WELL YOU SHOULD'VE THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE YOU PUT GARLIC POWDER INSTEAD OF SALT!" Mina yelled back.
"I DIDN'T NOTICE IT JUST HAPPENED!"
I sighed knowing this argument was never going to finish. I was going to do the spicy curry but the squad insisted on doing it instead. After being death threatened, I finally gave in and let them do it.
That was probably the biggest mistake because when I went to check on how it tasted, it took all of me to not throw up on the floor. Hagakure would not appreciate cleaning my own puke.
"So, how is it? Kami over here RUINED it because he put garlic powder instead of salt. But it was good before that happened." Sero huffed.
"I-its ok? U-uhm..." I didn't know how to explain to them that I almost puked trying it in the nicest way possible.
"Just be honest man. We can take it!" Kirishima thumbsed up. I nodded and took a deep breath.
"I almost threw up, it's not spicy enough, the flavor sucks, the chicken isn't cooked well, the spices you chose don't even go well together even if you didn't add garlic powder." I said smiling. I guess they were shock of my sudden outburst because they just stood there, wide eyed mouth opened.
"W-well then..." they simply said.
"When I said 'we can take it' I didn't mean to just *sniff* say everything you thought. Not very manly *sniff* mido *sniff* dude." Kirishima wiped a fake tear from his eye.
"Oh well uhm...be more specific then?" I shrugged before I motioned them to scoot over. I dumped the witchcraft into the sink to start all over again. This time, I would make sure that Kacchan would enjoy this spicy curry. I started to set all the ingredients and delicately putting it in the pot. (A/N: I don't know how to make curry cuz the only thing I can make is cereal :> so pretend midobabe is master chef)
I started to mix the ingredients up, tasting it, putting more spices, tasting it, hmm a little bit more of the jalapeños, testing it again. Hmm that's about right.
The squad looked at me in awe as I made Kacchan's curry. When I was little I would help my mom make food with her and would always see how she would do stuff. When she would do spicy curry for Kacchan and auntie Mitsuki, I would always watch.
When I was done, I gave it one last dash of salt, and called it a day.
"Done!" I chirped. "Wow Midoriya, so fast. Let us try!" Sero made his way over to where the curry was. He grabbed a spoon and dipped it into the pot and tried it.
