Chapter 5

4 days later

It's been a couple of days since what happened between me and Scott. He's been staring at me more than usual- but not just normal ordinary staring. You can see the lust in his eyes. Today is Friday and it's also the night of the party. I'm still debating whether I'm going or not. It was now six and me and Cho have been talking in our dorm since classes ended. I told her about what happened with Scott. And she freaked out in both a good and a bad way.

"YOU MADE OUT WITH HIM Y/N" Cho yelled as she covered her mouth.

"Holy shit Cho lower your voice!" I whisper yelled.

"Okay okay I'm sorry- but you can't blame me.. Y/n Everly made out with someone-BUT not just someone- a boy who is possibly a Death Eater" She said with wide eyes.

"Do you think I made a mistake?" I asked her.

"That's not up to me to make that call.. Do you think you made a mistake?" She asked.

"It doesn't feel like a mistake," I said.

"Then don't worry about it..Just be careful" she said.

I warmly smiled at her as she began talking again.

"It's 6:06, do you wanna get dinner?" She said.

"Yes" I said

We walked down to the Great Hall and stepped inside. Seeing everyone eating happily and talking gives me a warm feeling. As we continued to our table I saw Luna waving her hand as she greeted me and I did the same in return. As we ate I saw Draco leaving the Great Hall looking frustrated. I thought about what to do. I could chase after him or sit here and continue eating. I was just gonna sit here and eat but it's not in me to do that. I excused myself then made my way out of the Great Hall. I walked around for a few minutes in search of him when I finally found him standing alone in a dim hallway.

"Draco?" I said softly. He turned around and looked at me with a confused look on his face. Then slowly turned his face away from my direction.

"What do you want?" He said with an attitude.

"I saw you leave the Great Hall..I just wanted to know if you are alright" I said.

"I'm fine." He said as he crossed his arms.

"You should get going Everly," He said.

"You don't look fine" I said as I stood my ground.

"Look I said I'm fine and I also said you should get going and I mean that." He said sternly as he finally turned to me.

"Look I don't wanna be up your ass but I know if I don't I'm going to feel bad about it later, so what is going on?" I asked him.

"Leave Y/n" He slightly yelled.

"Well well..." I heard a dark voice behind me say. I turned my head and saw Mattheo, Ace and Scott walking towards us.

"What's-" I began to say before getting cut off.

"Don't speak," Mattheo said as he came quite close to me, almost towering over me.

"Unless you're spoken to.." He finished.

"But since you want to talk so badly answer this.. What are you doing here?" Mattheo asked as he stared at me, not breaking eye contact.

"I came to see if Draco was okay," I said.
