chapter 18

Y/n’s POV:

“Mmm” I hummed as I began to wake up.

I blinked my eyes a couple times as I adjusted to the brightness of the room.

“Are you finally waking up now?” I heard a familiar voice ask me.

I looked to my right and saw Mattheo standing next to the bed I was laying on. I looked around the room and got confused quickly.

“Where am I?” I asked him.

“My room” He said calmly.

“What why?” I said as I began to sit up but quickly stopped due to the fact that my head was pounding. 

“Do you not remember what happened last night?” He said.

I tried to think, but couldn’t come up with anything, except one thing;

“Oh no. Tell me we didn't-” I began to say worriedly.

He laughed lightly;

“No, we didn’t do it,” He said.

“And if we did, you would’ve remembered every single thing” He said smartly.

“But, you really don’t remember?” He said, going back on topic.

I tried thinking harder.

Then I remembered.

“Oh my god!” I shouted.

“Where’s Draco?” I said, sitting fully up now.

“And Professor Snape? What happened to them-” I began to ask before Mattheo interrupted me.

“They’re fine. Snape saved Draco’s life” He said.

“How?” I asked.

“Oh my god, stop asking questions already and lay back down” Mattheo said as he sat on the foot of the bed.

“I can go back to my own room,” I said.

“Stop being so stubborn and lay down” He said a bit harshly.

I looked at him for a moment before laying back down.

“How did I end up here?” I asked.

“I got to you just on time” He said.

“Right before you hit the ground,” He added.

I stared at him.

“Thank you,” I said.

“Yeah yeah” He said.

“What time is it?” I asked him.

“It’s 11:30am,” He said.

“What! What about classes!?” I shouted.

“Calm the hell down, we’re fine, Severus already took care of everything” He said sternly.

Instead of arguing with him and asking more questions I just decided to shut up.

“So you know about the mark?” He said.

I looked down for a moment;

“Yeah” I said quietly.

“You shouldn’t be surprised, you should’ve already known,” He said.

“I know, I wasn't,” I said.

“Mmm” He hummed.

“I’m guessing you have the mark too?” I asked, just wanting to see I’m correct.
