Your POV

My sight is engulfed by black until a blaze of white appears.

At first, I think that it is a star, perhaps like the one I wished upon. I find that I am mistaken as the light fades just enough to make out a shape; a human-like shape.

She is slender with thin features to match as well. Her skin appears to be glowing white and her hair flowing, a shifting azure blue. She is dressed in a very flowing dress and accessorized with round gold jewelry pieces.

"Y/n" her voice rings like the bell of the chapel I used to visit.

"My name is Sakkaku, Archon of dreams, wishes, and hopes. I have granted your request and now bestow it upon you."

She squints her eyes at me.

"Listen carefully...

A deep void where starlight cannot enter nor escape,

A place where roots engrave dreams and wishes; both shaped

Beyond Mt. Hulao and across the Teyvat sea,

Return my taken Gnosis, within a year, to me"

I want to ask what she is talking about but I feel the darkness envelop me whole and I begin to fall.

I abruptly wake up.

A Few Moments Later

Something isn't right. I can't tell what it is as my grogginess is fogs up my sense of clarity.

I lick my lips which are noticeably chapped as usual. Only this time, when I retract my tongue, my mouth is filled with a poignant taste; the taste of salt.

I sit up spitting and convulse at how strong the salt was.

Where the hell did the salt come from? I think to myself

Despite the subtleness, I can feel the cold floor beneath my body swaying, and then I consider for a minute. Am I on a boat?

I look up to see a ladder and a metal frame in the shape of a grid. I hoist my body up and find myself aboard a ship. Before I can even take in my surroundings and find a logical explanation, I hear someone chuckle; clearly amused.

"Well, looky here. We appear to have a stowaway, ey?"

Standing on the wooden floor of the main deck, I turn to see an elderly man sitting on a cargo box.

"Excuse me?" I say with a minor frog in my throat.

"It's fine kiddo, you can relax. I've seen enough on this ship that my old soul ain't up for a fight anymore" he grins as you continue to look at him in utter confusion.

"Ummm... thanks... I guess" I mumble "Could you uh- please tell me where I am?"

"You are aboard a ship from Snezhnaya. We are now docked in Liyue Harbor."

"Oh ok," I carefully take in my surroundings before waving a farewell to the kind elder and hopping off the ship.

I hardly notice my change in attire until I am off the ship.

The beach shorts and loose tank top that I went to sleep with have vanished. Instead, I find myself clothed in a much different outfit.

(Imagine your OC's outfit or whatever attire you would like ^^)

I'm momentarily caught up in the intricacy of my new attire before noticing the rectangular trinket that hangs from my waist.

I hold it up and run my fingers over the smooth orb of glass. Concealed by the glass is a peculiar green heart. I don't know what it is or how my clothing has changed but what I do believe, is that I need answers. Fortunately, I know how to compose myself and remain calm in times of disbelief or fear.

I'm so preoccupied with the sea of thoughts flowing through my head, that I barely even notice I bumped into someone.

"Oh- s-sorry!" I manage to stutter.

"No need to apologize."

I look up to see a figure dressed in silky white with frost blue hair. His eyes are also a very light but piercing blue.

"Thanks, I guess," I grin. "I'll be on my way no-" I feel the balls of my feet slowly turning to walk away until he speaks again.

"Your aura. Something is off about it. You almost feel... out of place."

His eyes are closed but mine are wide open with shock.

"I'd like you to come and meet a friend of mine."

"Pardon me, but I don't exactly know you-" I begin to say.

"My name is Chongyun and my friend is Xingqui. I'd like to inquire who you are as well now?"

"Y/n, Y/n L/n"

He simply nods and then gestures for me to follow him.

As I turn my body to begin walking with him, I can't help but notice a flash of red and orange slip away in one of the Liyue structures.
