"Dr. Went, status report."

The scientist known as Dr. Went, turned away from the viewing window to hastily greet the man who had just entered. That man being one of Japan's most wanted villians, Destructo. And the doctors current boss.

"The test are proceeding just as we planned." The doctor told the taller man,  guesting to the animal on the other side of the glass, a small grey Huskey. Only this one had tenticles growing out of its back and large fanged teeth protruding from its mouth.
"The subjects body has effectively accepted the implanted quirk sir. We estimate he will last twice as long as the last subjects!"

"Good." Destructo grinned as he watched the creature he had spent years and a fortune to create. Soon he would have his army and not even All Might would be able to stop him.

The villian was abruptly Interupted from his internal monologue by the sound of a phone going off. The sound of that one ringtone that comes with the phone and everyone either absolutely hate or really loves, echoed throughout the room. After a second of awkward eye contact the doctor fished the device out of his pocket and checked the number.

"What's the matter?" Destructo asked when the doctor didn't answer it right away, opting to just stare at the device in his hand.

"I'm.. I'm not sure?" The scientists confessed sounding confused. "There's no number only a blank line. No option to decline the call either."

"Ignore it then." Destructo ordered with a wave of his hand. The two men waited for the phone to stop ringing. Only it never did. A tick mark grew on the villians face as the constant ringing started to hit his nerves.

"Answer it!" He snapped out in annoyance at the doctor.

The doctor jumped and did as told placing the phone to his ear. "Hello?" He was silent for a moment before handing the phone to Destructo. "It's for you."

The man snatched the phone away and placed it to his ear. "Who is this?!" He demanded.

A small scratchy chuccle sounded from the phone. "Now, now Mr Martana, no need to be rash." The electronic voice sounded, indicating neither age or gender.

Destructo was shocked. How do they know his name?! He had made sure that info had been destroyed, and anyone who could tell had been taken care of.

"I know a lot more than just your name Mr Martana." The voice spoke as if having just read his a mind. "Such as your little plan to use artificially quirked animals to do your bidding. Not a bad plan mind you, but a bit too cliche for my taste."

Destructo was shocked into silence and narrowed his eyes down into a scowl. "What do you want?"

"Oh you seem to misunderstand Mr. Martana, you see you've already given me everything I need from you."

"Just what is that supposed to mean!" The villian demanded.

"Boss!" Destructo's head turned towards his lackey beside him who had his own cellphone out. "We have a problem sir, Someone's hacked Into our systems!"

"WHAT!"

"As no doubt your goons have just Informed you of the little, bug, in your system. That would be me, I must admit you have given me a rather good fight Mr. Martana. It's took quite a while to hack into your systems. I thank you for the challenge."

Another goon burst through the lab door panting out of breath. "Boss...hero's...outside!"

Destructo's eyes grew wide. "How did they find us?!" He paused, his gaze slowly lowering to the phone in his hands.

"Who are you?" He growled. Destructo would has sworn he could feel the person smirk from behind the black screen. "You may call me Phantom."

His face paled at the name. Phantom, a name spoken in heated wispers by high ranking villians everywhere. It was said that once they had you in their clutches you were good as dead. Nothing could be hidden from them. Even things you had never told anybody were read by Panton like an open book.

"Boss! Boss, what do we do?!"

The villian leader looked to see his men waiting for his orders. They were surprised when their boss threw his head back and burst out laughing.

"I will not go down so easily Phantom, and when I don't, I will find you. I will find you, and I will kill you."

Phantom's electronic voice chuckled darkly. Growing softer into a statistic wisper. "I'll be waiting."

Click

After phantom hung up on Destructo the hero's attacked the lab. The villians put up a fight but it was as if the hero's knew exactly who they were and had prepared ways to take each of them down in seconds. They fell quickly and the hero's watched successfully as the villians were carted away by the police one by one.

One such hero was the underground hero Eraserhead. Who was monitoring the villians in case any of them tried anything.

Once again Phantoms information had been spot on. Everything from the location, to the personal inside. He was once again amazed at just what this mistery person was able to accomplish.

Ring ring. Ring ring

Eraserhead was pulled from his thoughts by his phone going off. He fished the device out of his pocket and smirked at the hooded skeleton, a grim reaper that appeared on the black screen. The only option being to pick up the call. Speak of the devil and he shall appear.

"Hello, Phantom."

"Good evening, darling. How did the raid go? I trust there were no, complications."

"All your info was correct. Although I suspect you already knew that."

"Well I try." Phantom chuckled into the call. "I didn't call just to gloat though. When you return home you will find all the information I have on Destructo and his operations on you computer. I suspect you'll know what to do from there?"

"Yes, should I expect another black cat photo attached to this one as well?"

"Awww, don't tell me you don't want it?" Hearing no answer Phantom let out a laugh. "Well I think that settles that. Have a good evening Mr Aizawa."

He hung up the phone staring at it for a second. Since Phantom modified their voice there was no way to tell what gender Phantom truly was. Or if phantom was even a single person at all. Which was very unlikely.

Many had different opinions on Phantom. No one knew exactly who they were and to the public they didn't even exist. Those who had heard of Phantom just believed it to be a story made up in order to scare villians. But every so often, out of the blue the hero's would receive information on a villian hideout, a corrupt hero or, like today, a quirk experiment lab. Phantom would occasionally work with the hero's on the attack then disappear once again like they never existed.

Some belived they needed to be stoped due to the illegal nature of their actions. While others appreciated the help they got if not a little skeptically. But both sides had to respect the skills of the mistery person. What they did was nothing less than magic everytime. Phantom was single handedly changing the entire system and they were doing it all from within the shadows.
