By the time I found my way back to the front of the festival I only had just enough time to grab some stall food, before booking it back into the arena where everyone was begeinio to gathering once again.
I was looking around wondering where all the girls from my class had dissapeared to when I spotted them. I almost spit out the food on my mouth when I saw Uraraka, Momo and the other girls all decked out in colorful chearleader outfits, even sporting matching pom-poms in each hand.
What are you guys doing!? I asked between laughs as I approached them.
Kaminari and Mineta tricked us. Momo explained in that cute way she got when she was mad.
We totally fell for it to. Uraraka said too embarrassed to be mad at the moment.
Aww come on girls, I said flipping out my phone. It's not all that bad. I quickly began taking as many photos as I could before they could stop me. Jiro wasn't to happy about it, trying to hid herself with her hand while Mina and Hakagure were totally for it. Even posing for me while I cheared them on.
Once I was satisfied we made our way over to the platform where everyone else was already waiting.
I munched on my food as Midnight once again walked onstage and anounced that we would be drawing lots to determine who would be fighting who. And since there was an odd number, who would get to skip the first round, who would fight twice and so on.
We were about to draw lots when someone raised their hand and asked to drop out. Everyone turned in surprise to see Ojiro with his hand held high. He explained that he wanted to give his spot to someone else because he didn't remember the last round at all and felt like he didn't deserve it. So after a quick debate and Midnight getting...ummm, ya. It was decided that Ojiro and another boy from Shinsou's team would drop out and two other students would take their places.
Although the whole scene probably sounded really sweet I didn't pay much attention to it. My mind was preoccupied with something I had forgotten to ask Ryuu. I needed information from that one guy about his quirk. Cause as much as I hate to have to even think about it again, he had still been able to smuggle a bomb into the school, and that was a big no no. If Nezu found out I would never live it down.
After that the lots were chosen and guess who got to sit out first round? Heck ya, finally some good karma! I would be fighting whoever won between Bakugo and Uraraka. And ok I know I said I was just going to drop out quickly during the first round butttt...if explosives boy won I may edit my plans a little bit. I had been waiting for so long to mess with that kid. Then I noticed Shinsuo was fighting in the first round against, Midoria. A small smirk made its way up my face, ahh the drama that was about to ensue.
After the brackets were set up those competing were set free to prepare however they liked while the extra games ensued. Time to go take a nap in a corner somewhere.
I was casually walking around the hallways on my way to the cafeteria when I spotted something interesting. And by that I mean one Todoroki standing at the corner and looking around the wall very suspiciously. I would have thought he was spying on someone had his shoulders not been so tense.
I quietly approached the boy who had yet to notice me and leaned into his ear. What're we looking at? I wispered. The half and half boy jumped and spun around relaxing a bit when he saw it was just me.
His face went blank again and he turned like he was trying to shield me from the corner. It's nothing.
I raised my eyebrows at the obvious lie and smoothly maneuvered my way around him. Looking around the corner I caught sight of the problem, which took the form of one giant flaming trashcan. Enderver seemed to be moving his head around a lot, probably looking for Todoroki. I felt said boy stiffen beside me as his father got closer to the hallway they were in.
