"You know, being here with everyone has brought so many good feelings and memories..." Mercedes said, as she stood with Kurt on the stage of the auditorium. "But, alas, with the old good feelings come the old bad ones, too."
"Why, just today, Mercedes and I were in the lunch line when a battle from way back in the day came out, and we found ourselves at each other's throats again." Kurt nodded, as Piper laughed, recalling said battle from their lunch together earlier.
Leaning closer to her girlfriend, Quinn grabbed Piper's hand in hers.
"What are they talking about?" She asked, as Piper sent Quinn a quiet smile.
"They argued over tots again." She said, causing Quinn to roll her eyes.
"No way."
"Yes." Piper nodded with a giggle. "Kurt said they had no nutritional value, but Mercedes argued that tots are vegetables because potatoes are vegetables."
"She knows that's not how it works, right?" Quinn asked, as Piper giggled.
"Yeah, she does, but that's not really why they're doing this."
"And why are they?"
When Piper nodded at Santana and then at Rachel who refused to look at one another as they sat on opposite sides of the auditorium, Quinn understood. With a smile, she nodded then, deciding to just let it go since, this time, she wasn't involved in the drama as she leaned closer to Piper and leaned her head against her shoulder to enjoy the duet from Kurt and Mercedes that she knew was about to come.
"Yes, I know." Mercedes nodded dramatically as Piper giggled, pulling Quinn's hand that was in hers up to her lips to press a quick kiss to the back of it. "It's really hard to see friends fighting, but I'm just glad that none of you guys were there to see it."
"I was right behind you in line." Artie said, only to be bluntly ignored by the two older kids.
"Because the most upsetting thing is watching two people you love fight about something ridiculous and there not being anything you can do to stop it." Kurt said, sending both Santana and Rachel rolled their eyes, annoyed. "But, thankfully, we made up and we have never been closer. And we've decided to heal our hearts with a song."
And, as Kurt and Mercedes sang their rendition of I'm changing, Rachel and Santana exchanged glances, both of them slowly realizing that their little feud was a bit nonsensical. Still, they both stood up and smiled as they clapped for the duo along with everyone when they were done.
After hugging one another and smiling, Kurt and Mercedes turned to the group, noticing the little glances between the two fighting friends and hoping that their little intervention had worked on them.

Apparently, it had worked and after Santana and Rachel had worked out their differences, it was time for Quinn Fabray's very own hijack of the glee club. And, yes, she was nervous. Of course she was. Who wouldn't be in her place? But as she watched Piper talking and laughing with Mercedes as she sat beside her in the choir room, waiting for their class to start, Quinn couldn't help but smile and feel her heart skipping a few beats in her chest every time Piper giggled.
If she was being honest, Quinn was sure she could spend hours just watching her girlfriend, but when Mr. Schue walked into the room, the little jewelry box in the pocket of her dress suddenly felt a bit heavier. Not in a bad way, though. Never in a bad way.
"Okay, guys..." Mr. Schue announced, as he clapped once to get the kids' attention. "So, for today, Quinn asked for the floor, so... If you'd like..."
