My heart was racing
As your lips drew near
But it all went wrong
My very worst fear
I'm sorry I laughed
An unfortunate mistake..
But I was so surprised
To sneeze in your face
After giggles subsided
And all was good
I made to straddle your lap
But kneed your manhood
Such a stoic man
You shed only a tear
But somehow you loved me
And I was still your Dear
So we tried once more
With the vigor of youth
But I heard it and I felt it -
And out fell your tooth
I felt your hands my face
You came near slowly and steered
But as you pulled away
My hair got caught in your beard
Still you loved me
Still immune to the gloom
You whispered two words,
"The bedroom..."
