CHAPTER 28
I told him that I'll help him but I didn't know that he's so persistent. I shook my head and sauntered towards downstairs.
I arced my eyebrows and looked at him from head to toe.
"Aakyat ka ng ligaw?" I asked and I witnessed how his eyes got bigger. "Si Farah, I mean."
I think he misinterpreted it based on how he reacts. Tumango siya kaya napangiwi ako.
"Talaga lang,huh?"
"Bakit, bawal ba?"
"It's not bawal, okay? It's just that... don't you think it's too early?"
He immediately looked at his wrist watch and threw a plain smile after. It's just six in the morning for God's sake and then he went there. I didn't even get a good night's sleep.
"Ohh," he said and bit his lips and looked at me apologetically. "Sorry, natutulog ka ba kanina?"
"What do you think?" Tinuro ko pa ang kabuuan ko. I'm in my Pajamas.
"Sorry... I'm just excited."
Ngumiwi ako. I said, I'll help him so we set a dates and times kung kailan tutulungan ko siya. I'm not free all the time and I can't also entertain him all the time he wants kaya mabuti na yung nagkaayos kami.
"Ano pala ang perfect time?" He suddenly asked.
"Mamaya ng hapon," I looked away and yawned. "I'm sure Farah is still asleep by now."
"You think so?"
"Yeah," I looked at the hallway to the kitchen. "Kumain ka na ba?"
Natigilan siya at nahihiyang umiling. Ayan! Sa sobrang excited nakalimutan ng mag-agahan. Mas inuna ang panliligaw kaysa pagkain.
"How can you get energy kung hindi ka kakain. You should have eat first."
"Yeah.. I was just excited, you know."
"Whatever," I rolled my eyes. "Let's go."
"Nagpatulong siya sa aking manligaw," I said and looked at Klein teasingly.
"Manligaw?" Tita interrupted. "Kanino?"
"Sa friend slash classmate ko, Tita. Natorpe kasi."
"I'm n-not," kaila niya. He's ears are turning red--he's getting shy. "Hindi lang talaga niya ako pinapansin."
"Surely, sasagutin ka nang liligawan mo, hijo. You're a good catch. Kung wala nga lang boyfriend 'tong si Rain ay ilalakad kita."
"Daddy!" suway ko sa kanya.
Nahihiyang nagbaba lang ng tingin si Klein. They talked about stuff that I can't relate to. After eating our breakfast, I went back to my room to fix myself while Klein was waiting for me downstairs.
I'll help him buy stuff for courting. This is not my forte because I'm a girl and usually boys take the first move, but as a girl I know I can be a big help by knowing things that can tame girls.
"Let's go," I said when I saw him sitting on the couch.
"Saan tayo unang pupunta?" He asked and I thought of it.
