I'm sorry,
For the million mistakes I've created.
I'm sorry,
If I was never enough to fill your broken expectations.
I'm sorry,
If my insecurities had trapped my own ambitions.
I'm sorry,
If I had been blinded by hope to not know when to give up.
But one question would linger in my mind,
If you are expecting me to apologize for who I am,
Without even considering the hundreds of oceans I've crossed without knowing how to swim,
What type of person will that make you?
