Serene was making numerous phone calls to obtain the gun that her client had asked her to find. It wasn't her typical request, but there was nothing impossible for her. After making a couple of calls, she encountered someone who had a conventional price.

"Yes, I would like to purchase it. Let's meet at the shop," Serene closed the deal. "Thank you. See you there."

She would first meet the person who had the gun and would turnabout to the following meeting location to deliver the gun. It wasn't her first time doing this, as she had done it on a couple of occasions when she was having a rocky time supporting herself.

Serene took a hot shower. The water made the glass fog up. The water always had to be hot whenever she took a shower. The water trickled down her skin, the lingering scars that were present on her skin were subsequently fading like the rest.

She stepped out and dried herself, then proceeding to wear the clothes she planned. A classy outfit was her ideal choice as no one would question her. It's fucked up, but that's how today's society is. You'll highly not be investigated if you're rich and looked loaded.

A long-sleeved black sweater that was tucked into her white skirt was her choice. Adding on, she wore a black beret and high heels. Before departing, she glanced at herself in the mirror and progressed to complete the transaction.

The busy streets were always packed with people, except for today. It was still packed, but not as much as formerly. It was the most diminutive detail that Serene had discerned. She kept her head high and entered the high-end store.

She grabbed random pieces of clothing and proceeded to buy them.

"Credit or cash?" the cashier asked.

"Cash," Serene replied, handing over the bills. The boy handed over the bag of items. "Do you mind if I look and see if there's anything else I might want to buy? I just wanted to secure these first."

"There's no problem ma'am," he smiled.

Serene got a few more items and headed to the dressing room. She hung them on the rack. Her eyes glanced at the mirror. She inspected the mirror, making sure that it was a real mirror, but it wasn't. It was two-sided glass.

A few minutes later, a woman enters her dressing room. She handed over the bag with the gun while Serene handed over the money. After the deal, the platinum blonde woman left without catching anyone's attention.

Serene hid the gun in her side bag and prepared herself to go to the next location. Before she could retreat, her phone started to ring.

"Hello?"

"It's me, the guy who bought the gun," he introduced. "I'll just meet you there. Stay where you are."

"How do you know where I am?"

"Honey, can't you take a hint with the gun?", he lowly chuckled. "I think you should know."

The call ended there, leaving her voiceless. Minutes passed and there were no signs of anyone going in the store. She just sat down in the dressing room, impatiently idling.
