Darkness filled the sky as the moon and stars shone brightly. Night had come and it was time that NCT executed one of their most intricate missions. The ones who were going to meet with The Boyz were already at the meeting point.

Everyone left at the base was ready with their guns and knives. Renjun, who was in charge of the explosives, had hidden them in the areas that Serene predicted the other The Boyz members would hide nearby their base.

"Everything good there?" Haechan communicated through the in-ears of the members. Ten and Haechan were in the high-tech room as they had access to all the security cameras in the area of the meeting place.

"Yeah, Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaemin and I are still waiting for them," Serene responded. Although Serene was in charge of the plan, Taeyong was the one who picked who was coming with him. The time that Serene updated Haechan, she heard footsteps coming their way. "I think they're here. Get ready for our plan."

"Okey dokey, Serene."

Four members of The Boyz had come to the meeting place. Sangyeon, who was the leader, was the one who took the lead. Aside from him, Juyeon, Sunwoo and Kevin accompanied him. As agreed upon, everyone came without any weapons on them.

"It seems like everything is going smoothly, for now," Sangyeon hinted his distrust in them. The other three behind him had watched every move that they made. "Let's handle this the easy way, yeah?"

Taeyong kept still and quiet. The other four exchanged glances before Doyoung took the lead in the conversation.

"The client is in our van," Doyoung informed and signaled Jaemin to head over to the van. With another exchange of glances, Jaemin nonchalantly walked towards their van. "He's insanely rich and needs a lot of favors to be done."

While Doyoung was talking, Serene helped guide the fly-disguised tracking devices to land on the members of The Boyz. Through her contacts, Haechan had access to her surroundings and what she could see. He had the remote in his hands as he guided each fly onto each member.

"It seems like your member is taking his sweet time?" Sangyeon questioned, getting suspicious already. The other three started to look around their surroundings, as they were expecting a surprise attack. "Taeyong, why don't you check up on him?"

"Jaemin's done, move out of the way in three seconds," Ten, who was now in charge of being their new pair of eyes, instructed. "1, 2, 3, now!"

Doyoung and Serene ran behind a pillar in the building as fires of bullets came from outside. The hologram of Taeyong, which The Boyz didn't realize was a fake, turned off when Sangyeon tried to hit him.

Juyeon, Sunwoo and Kevin were shot in vital parts multiple times as they started to lose blood quickly. The only one who wasn't shot was their leader, Sangyeon.

"Doyoung, Serene, we're leaving him up to you two," Taeyong, who was in another building, ordered through the in-ear.

Taeyong was hiding in the building nearby, ready to snipe them. Jaemin, on the other hand, ran to The Boyz's van and slit the tires. There were two enemies hiding in the van, which was why he had taken longer than expected. After dealing with them, he took all the weapons in the van and headed to the building where Taeyong was. The two of them were the ones who had sniped them.

"Do you want a slow painful death or do you wish to die in an instant?" Doyoung smirked, getting his pocket knife from his shoe. He couldn't contain his excitement as it had been a long time since he went out on the battlefield. "Hurry up and don't waste my time, you piece of shit."

At first, Serene had assumed that Taeyong would pick either Johnny or Jaehyun to come, but she was surprised to find out that he had chosen Doyoung. She barely encountered Doyoung fighting as he was usually with the brains team, at the infirmary, or with Taeyong. Now, she could understand why he had picked Doyoung.

"Kim Doyoung, the one previously in charge of torturing enemies," Sangyeon scoffed as he kept his guard up. He took out his pocket knife from the inner pocket of his jacket. "I wonder why you became the one in charge of treating your members?"

Sangyeon was adding fuel to the already blazing Doyoung. He wanted to push him to the limits and mock him. He was at a disadvantage, but he wanted to anger him. If he were to get mindlessly angry, he could use it to his advantage.

"I killed at least thirty people on my own every day during my prime time. After that, I would come home and torture our captured enemies. That routine continued for three years before Taeyong assigned me as the doctor," Doyoung gave him an answer as his last wish before dying. He walked closer to the enemy with a confident grin. "Besides, I don't want any of my members to die because of stupid people like you."

Giving a signal to Serene, she brought out her pistol and shot him in the head. While he was distracted, Serene had the time to bring out the pistol she had hidden behind a couple of boxes in the room. It was a clean kill as he collapsed in front of Doyoung.

"You could've killed him though?" Serene questioned and walked over to the older male. The two watched the blood slowly exit the four enemies' bodies. "Why didn't you?"

"Taeyong gave me a limit of killing only 10 people a month and I've reached that limit already," Doyoung chuckled and turned his head to look at Serene. "Since you heard everything earlier, I would like to also flex that I was always top 1 in the rankings before Taeyong butted in."

"Remind me to not tease you anymore," Serene muttered. She wasn't usually afraid of any of the members, but hearing a bit of Doyoung's past had frightened her.

"As a former top 1 member, I see a lot of potential in you," Doyoung encouraged the hard-working girl and patted her head. "I'll be in charge with clean up so go with the other two to help the base out."

She nodded and hurried over to where the two were waiting. Taeyong and Jaemin were patiently waiting for her before heading to the base.

"You're not hurt, are you?" Jaemin asked, scanning her head to toe with worried eyes.

"Quit flirting and more killing," Taeyong reminded them of their job. "Haechan, we need a follow-up."

"As of now, the one who was left at the base to keep watch and signal them currently has no clue about the four who just died. I replayed the clip of your confrontation to make it look like you were still talking to them, but I got rid of their access to the security cameras," Haechan gave an update. His eyes were focused on every screen in the room and Ten helped him with observing each move. "Renjun just set off the explosives and we have at least two down here."

"That leaves us with two members," Jaemin, who was updated with the status of the enemies, commented. He thought about the enemy team before making a conclusion. "It must be the ace members, Younghoon and Haknyeon."

"We have the upper hand," Taeyong added and thought for a while. "Instead of heading to our base, let's go infiltrate their base and kill the only member there. Let's score ourselves some extra cash and weapons there."

"I'll get my hands on any type of information from the base. Jaemin will gather any useful weapons and cash," Serene suggested a plan to Taeyong. "You can have the honor of killing that member."

"I like how that sounds," Taeyong grinned. took out the keys to their van and hopped inside. "Get in kids, we're going to show who's the boss around here."
