"Oh?""It's nothing," Yangyang brushed off, averting his eyes. He took a deep breath before confronting the girl again. "It's nearly eleven, you should go to Shotaro. Don't stress out too much, please."
"I'll try, but I can't promise you anything," the girl bitterly smiled and got up from the sofa. She faced Yangyang and glanced into his eyes. "I don't want to ruin your expectations of me. You'll only be disappointed, don't care too much."
Yangyang was voiceless, unable to say the words he desired to say. He didn't know if it was his pride or fear. He feared commitment. Yet to him, she didn't feel like one. He didn't like long-lasting relationships as he worried one day they'll leave. Serene to him was a large risk of his emotions being tangled up and flustered.
"I'll see you around, Yang," a sincere smile was now displayed upon her face ere leaving Yangyang alone in the living room.
With her short strides towards the twentieth zone, she paused in front of the metal door. Her hand stretched out for the knob, then feeling its icy surface made her hairs stand. She pushed open the door to see Shotaro at the other end. He was wrapping his hands with a cloth.
"You're three minutes early," he noted before tossing two pieces of cloth towards the girl who promptly caught it without letting her guard down. "Pretty good with reflexes as Yuta said. You really just need to sharpen your guard. You can't sense people around you or predict them."
"Whatever," she grumbled in response, then shutting the door ere leaning on it.
She wrapped the cloth around her hand then down a little after her wrist. Doing the same for her other hand, the one previously done started to get loose. This hindered her. Whenever she trained, Yuta would help her out but he wasn't there to do so.
"Let me do it," Shotaro offered, directing towards the girl. He pointed to her arm that had the cloth that was coming undone. "Can I?"
A nod was given as a response which made Shotaro tighten the loose cloth. His hands were swift and adjusted the cloth on her other hand as well. Afterward, he led the girl to the center of the zone.
"Let's start with the basics and make progress as we go," Shotaro said as his fists were ready. He stood in front of her and looked her in the eye before speaking. "Hit me. I want to see your skills first."
The girl straightened her back before plotting out her first move. She diverted her eyes to make him look the other way, but his eyes didn't budge. Her first move was a hook, but Shotaro speedily evaded the attack. Next, she threw a jab but he dodged as well.
This continued, throwing diverse skills and techniques at the male. Despite that, he swiftly dodged every single one flawlessly which made the girl purse her lips.
"You should learn some techniques that are best for you," Shotaro commented as he dodged another uppercut of the tireless girl. "You're either using basic moves or those that are power-consuming. You should discern how to utilize your distinctive talents. Let's take a short break?"
