The date had ended earlier than expected due to the abrupt call of Taeyong. He had called Jaemin back to the base to accompany him on a mission. It had irritated him, but he had nothing else to do except listen to the leader.

"I'll make up with my flirting, honey," Jaemin teased and parked his car. He stared at her before unlocking the car. His hand made its way to caress her hair gently. "I'll wait until you're ready, so deal with my flirting attempts."

"Don't even try," Serene sighed and exited the vehicle. Leaving the car, she headed inside the base. Her body was sore and she was exhausted from walking around downtown. "Yes, my bed. The love of my life."

"I can't believe you'd choose your bed over the three guys who like you," Yuta commented. He turned around and faced the girl who had become one with her bed. "You should rest and wash up. Shotaro reminded me to remind you about meeting him."

"It's later tonight," she groaned and her eyelids closed. She could feel the sleepiness taking over her body. "I'll sleep for a bit. Wake me up later, Yuta. Thanks."

"Inseol, I'm sorry. You're suffering because of me."

"Eunbi, it's not your fault. I like helping you," the young Serene smiled. She held her older sister's hand tightly. "Promise not to leave so soon, okay? You can do it! We can do it!"

Eunbi lifted her hand and caressed her little sister's hair. Her braids were braided by her. She adored Inseol greatly.

"You need to leave soon," Eunbi reminded her clingy sister. The moment she saw her smile turn into a frown, Eunbi felt bad. "You have to stay at home since I have a visitor."

"I don't like it at home. Mom and dad are really really mean," Inseol complained with a pout on her face. Her hands were together as she shivered. Tears were starting to form. "L-Last time... They locked me in the storage room. It was dark and scary. I don't like it there."

"I'll talk to them later, okay? I'll make sure that won't happen again, I promise," Eunbi smiled. Upon seeing her older sister smile, it relieved Inseol who was scared to death. "Now, go find them in the hallway."

"Who visits you? Why can't I see them? What are they like?"

The curious and innocent Inseol bombarded her sister with multiple questions. She wasn't to be blamed as she was only seven. It was normal for her age.

"He's kind. He has a cute smile. He can come off as intimidating at first, but he's warm-hearted," the answer of her sister amazed the young Inseol. "He recently bought a dog to stay with me when he's not around. He'll come with it later."

"I want to see the puppy..."

"You can see her the next time you come. You can play with her if you want," Eunbi mentioned which made Inseol smile widely. She was able to get rid of the fear that Inseol was feeling earlier. "The puppy's name is Ruby."
