Monday.
I hate Mondays. Having to exist on a Monday means that you have 4 other days to live through, and hopefully make it until the weekends. Mondays are the crusts on pizzas nobody ever eats because of it being too bland and dry. Imagine having to eat a whole slice of delicious pizza just to end up with its crust. It's how the weekends transition to a Monday.
School felt extra boring today. Nothing too interesting happened, and if something extraordinary would happen today, I would honestly have no energy to comprehend it.
The university heads told us to only take the half day off, and spend the remaining afternoon to have a meeting with the clubs we joined. It basically meant we were still on a full day schedule.
I just finished my Contemporary Arts class when I saw Tzuyu in the hallway by the lockers.
"Yah, still got classes?" I asked, raising my eyebrows on her.
"That's the thing, my original schedule's supposed to be done by now, but I guess I have to stay here for the club meetings." Tzuyu sighed. She seemed very nonchalant though.
"What time does it start anyway?" I asked. The both of us were walking around the hallway aimlessly.
"In an hour or so. You want to grab lunch?"
Tzuyu and I proceeded to go upstairs and head to the library to look for Dahyun.
I saw the tofu as soon as I entered the library. She was in a small crowd near the librarian's counter. I approached her.
"Yah. You want to have lunch? Still got time before the club meetings."
Dahyun just looked at me and pouted, meaning she was busy with the student council. I can't blame her, being part of the student council means that you're always occupied on school days.
"Bring me some food, eh? I'm hungry." She frowned ever harder. To that, I smiled weirdly.
"Sure. Just give me money and I'll buy food for you." I joked.
"Yah! Your bestfriend is asking you a favor and this is what you say?" Her mouth gaped with her eyebrows meeting in the middle of her forehead.
"I was just kidding. Jes-" She stopped me before I could continue. I knew she would despise that expression from me.
"Leave the lord out of this." She didn't miss a beat. She was a little too loud, earning a shush from her co-members in the student council. They looked serious. I looked around the crowd and saw Sana unnie just smiling at me, charming as ever.
I proceeded to leave the library with a laugh. Tzuyu was waiting outside. We went our way outside the school and got to the closest place we could think of. The two of us were completely exhausted from our half day classes, so we didn't bother walking far just to eat lunch. The convenience store nearest to our school was our go to.
"Yah. I've never asked, but how did that little date with Mina go?" She asked as she was about to take another chopstick of the instant ramen on her side of the table.
I almost choked. Date? What date? I didn't say a thing, telling her that I had no idea what she was talking about.
"Last week. We were all drunk except the two of you." She continued speaking.
"I mean I wasn't really drunk at that time, but I wanted to save my eyes from whatever it is the two of you might do." Tzuyu added.
I almost choked, again. Hell, I wish I could choke to death right now because I can't comprehend what's coming out of this giant's mouth.
