Son Chaeyoung's Point of View

The ringing on my desk had me opening my eyes. I looked outside the window, nothing but the streets light were lit. No sun to be seen yet. My hands took hold of my phone only to see my brother calling. He groans as soon as I answer.

"Jeonghoon, can y-" I was going to ask him to pick us up a little later since we surely can't function properly due to the alcohol last night.

"I'll... b-be a bit late. Still sleepy." Jeonghoon barely got the words out of his mouth. He sounded very tired.

"No problem. I'll see you later." My voice was soft, not in any condition to speak.

The phone beeped as the connection ended, and the screen flashed the time: 4:45. I placed my phone back on my desk. My eyelids were once again falling shut when I feel something on my hip. I had one of my hands check out my hip and noticed another hand on top of it.

It was Mina's.

Softly, I got rid of her hand as I laid on my chest against the bed, facing her. I put her hands on my back and just let it rest there.

"You look so beautiful when you sleep" Taking the time to stare at Mina, I thought to myself.

Moles that aligned like constellations flashed like stars. Did you know Mina had a couple on her face? One can be seen on the side of her nose's bridge. I traced it down and saw another mole, perfectly painted in the middle of her lip's cupid bow.

Usually, her lips are touched with a little bit of color or gloss, but this moment revealed her bare self. A little pale in color, and a little chapped.

I'd kiss the paleness away.

Struck by the face only inches against me, I gazed more. Another mole was right on the border of the side of her lips. All these marks form a crooked line, as if it were Orion's belt.

Who knew having all these imperfections can make someone so perfect?

Being fully awaken by the vulnerability of Mina's face, I decided to fight the spell off and get up before Mina sees me intensely looking at her.

On my plush slippers, I silently exit the room, trying not to wake Mina. I proceeded to the hall, making my way to the kitchen as my vision makes out a silhouette. Only a dim light could be seen hanging from the kitchen ceiling

"Up so early, huh." I nudged Dahyun as she was preparing herself a cup of coffee. I grabbed myself a cup.

"Headache. I don't want this for the rest of the day." Her voice was indolent.

I leaned my hips on the kitchen counter beside Dahyun, waiting for her to finish making her coffee. I wandered my eyes around the living room, only to see Momo unnie heavily dozing off on the sofa. She let out very small snores.

"Yah, I'm sorry for last night."

My eyebrows rose, intently listening.

"Things with Sana and I are just... complicated."

"I thought so too."

"Y-you know what happened?"

"Not exactly. The air with you guys were awkward last night, so Mina and I tried to figure things."

"Wait, what? I thought Mina knew because Sana would tell her."

The conversation and the silence of the dorm had both of our voices on its lowest settings. We didn't want anyone else to hear.

"Mina thought I knew what was going on since she supposed you'd tell me." I poured myself a cup of brewed coffee.

"Yeah. I didn't know how to." Dahyun's ass flopped on the kitchen counter, circling her finger on the cup beside her. I planted my ass on the other end, with the coffee brewer between us.
