Minatozaki Sana's Point of View
The rain that caught me last Monday made me sick... big time. I had to miss school for almost a week since I had a hard time getting up and doing the simplest of tasks. Today though, Friday, I promised not to because I'm already behind lots of school works and student council tasks.
The day was quiet for me. I was still feeling ill and I knew I might get sent home if I push myself further. I did nothing too extra and just tried to catch up with my tasks. In fact, I felt so sick that the university has seen the not-so-bubbly side of Minatozaki Sana. It's a rare sight for them to see.
This is all your fault, Kim Dahyun.
I'm kidding, although technically it is true. She had me chase her in the rain instead of talking matters with me. Though, after that, I figured that we really needed space. If I really want things to be the way they were, I have to respect her alone time.
But damn, all this commotion is taking a toll on my life.
Right after school, I decided to make a stop at Dahyun's. It's been days since the happening, and I didn't want to end the week like this. Plus, Dahyun and I have council tasks to catch up on.
I'll admit, knocking on Dahyun's gate had my tummy twisting and palms sweating. Usually, I have no problem resolving conflicts with other people, but this is Dahyun we're talking about. The girl takes friendships very seriously. What if she decides that she's cutting me off of her life because of that stupid kiss? Stupid Sana and my self-control problems.
"Is Dahyun there?" I spoke with a hint of shaking in my voice.
Tzuyu was the one to open the gate for me. "Still in school. You didn't see her there?"
I shook my head off. I looked very down and unenergetic. I hoped Tzuyu didn't notice.
"She might be home anytime soon. You want to go inside and wait?" Tzuyu doesn't talk a lot, so hearing her offer me to come inside feels very new. Weirdly flattering.
"How about Chaeyoung? Is she home?" I entered their dorm with Tzuyu leading me.
"Not yet."
"I'll be in my room, unnie. Help yourself in the TV and in the fridge." Tzuyu left me sitting in the sofa. I wish she'd keep me company. Oh, well. We get what we have.
I checked my phone, kind of hoping to get a message from Dahyun. I miss her so bad.
I miss you, Kim Dahyun.
Out of boredom, and the anxiety of thinking about nothing but Dahyun, I walked around the living room. The TV shelf had frames of pictures on it and it caught my eye. Pictures of mostly Dahyun and Chaeyoung.
"They look really young here." I thought to myself. A picture of Chaeyoung and Dahyun munching on a popcorn. They look like they're only 14 here. Their friendship really is something.
Another picture was sitting on the shelf and it's something I did not see coming. A picture of Tzuyu. She was carrying bags. She looked like she had no idea what was happening here.
"That's from the first time I got here. They wanted it to be displayed and said it's 'mandatory'" I didn't realize Tzuyu's in the kitchen.
"I look stupid there." She walked back to her room with a glass of water.
I followed Tzuyu to her room. "You need help?" I was standing by the door, pointing at the amount of paper on her bed.
"All good." Tzuyu did not even bother to look at me, but quickly shifted her attention to me when I entered her room. Her eyes followed me as I sat on the chair beside her bed.
