My Lover (Fred Weasley x Fem! Reader)

Chapter 10: Yule Ball Announcement

It was the next day after umm, quite the interesting night after Fred had left all these lover bites on my neck. I had to use makeup so no one would see them. I wonder if Fred would've liked to see them. To show everyone what he did, well we are just friends, but at least I think we are a bit more after that night.

I am currently sat on the couch in the Gryffindor common room. Hermione and I were reading, while Ginny had stolen one of the Quaffles from the Quidditch set and started playing with it. I have no idea why her brothers won't let her play Quidditch with them.

She would kick all of their asses.  

Then all of a sudden I heard footsteps coming from the boys dormitories. Hopefully Fred, George and Lee are all up.  Today we were planning on pranking Snape and I am really excited for that.  I always loved pranking Snape, dad always told me about how him, Uncle James and Uncle Remus didn't get along with him.

There was also another boy in their friend group, however we don't talk about him. He is the reason that dad was thrown in Azkaban and missed most of my childhood. He didn't get to see my grow up, and that boy we don't talk about is also the reason that Uncle Remus became depressed for a bit. He lost all three of his friends that he thought were lifetime friends. One to Voldemort, one to Azkaban and the other to be thought of murdered by dad.

All of a sudden a paper was thrown into my lap, which brought me back into reality. I looked at who threw it at me and saw it was Fred. He also had George and Lee looking like they were trying to calm him down. 

"What is going on Freddie?" I asked. "Why don't you look at the paper with you and your boyfriend." He said, with pure anger in his voice. I looked at him confused, why is Fred acting this way. I then looked back at the paper and saw that it was myself and Cedric.  Me kissing his cheek in the hospital wing. 

I looked back up at Fred and shook my head. "Freddie, you know Cedric and I are just friends. There is nothing going on between the two of us." I said. "Well why don't you actually read the paper?" He asked. 

I picked up the paper and held it out and began to read from it : "Y/N Black, daughter of Azkaban escapee Sirius Black, saw to be comforting her boyfriend Cedric Diggory, The tri-wizard Champion after a burn to his face. Also caught hugging him before the great match with the dragon.  The pair say they are 'just friends' however, it seems as if there is more going on behind the scenes."  

"Why didn't you tell me that you had a boyfriend? And Cedric Diggory? Pretty Boy? Him of all people?" Fred asked, his tone of voice sounded hurt while saying this to me. "Freddie, you know that Cedric and I are just friends, nothing more." I stated. 

"Stop lying!" He yelled at me which caught the attention of everyone in the common room. "Woah, what is going on here?" Ginny asked. "Shut up Ginny." Fred said, that's when Ginny slapped him across the face. I was taken aback at what she just did and so was everyone else. 

Ginny then pulled him by the ear so he would hear her.  "You do not tell me to shut up! And you do not talk to Y/N like that understood Frederick?" Ginny asked.  I loved how Ginny would always stand up to her brothers.  

"Understood." Fred repeated, Ginny then sat down again on the chair she was on before, and starts playing with a Quaffle again. Fred turned his attention back to me where I gave him a smile, hoping he would accept that as 'I am not dating Cedric and I only have eyes for you'. 

It was the complete opposite of that actually... 

He scoffed and rolled his eyes and took off to his dorm room. I sighed in annoyance and defeat. I have no  idea what to say to him. I can't help that he is so stubborn and stupid sometimes.
