My Lover (Fred Weasley x Fem! Reader)

Chapter 33: Christmas

TIME SKIP: CHRISTMAS

It was now Christmas time, Ron had gotten poisoned at school this year so Fred, George and I went to Hogwarts to visit Ron in the Hospital wing to make sure that he was okay after getting poisoned.  He apparently  has also gotten himself a girlfriend named Lavender Brown which Hermione was not happy about. 

However it was now Christmas time, Fred, George and I were at the Burrow along with dad and Tonks.  They have been getting even more close to each other and I find my dad happier now. He was happiest when my father was still alive but he's getting there again with Tonks which makes me happy to see him getting better and happy. 

My dad, Tonks, Arthur and Harry were all in a room talking to each other that no one else was allowed in because apparently the conversation was private.  Fred, George and I were all gathered around, they were playing with some muggle Christmas things, I was sitting down on a chair. We had all eaten dinner already. 

I was waiting to go back to the flat since we weren't staying at the Burrow tonight. Molly's Christmas food was really good.  She has always been an amazing cook.  Ginny will be sleeping in the same room as Fleur tonight which Fred and George both responded to 'That will make Ginny's Christmas'.  

Not going to lie, but the fact that they aren't even giving Fleur a chance makes me really mad. If they were to just give her a chance to actually meet her then they would understand that she's perfect for Bill. 

"Y/N, Fred, George, ready to go back?" Dad asked. "Yeah." I replied, Fred and George both nodded their heads  "It was delicious, Molly, really." Tonks said to Molly as we were all getting ready to leave. "Are you sure you won't stay?" Molly asked us. "No, we should go. The first night of the cycle's always the worst." Tonks replied. "Remus?" Arthur and Fred asked. 

I looked at my dad and saw that he was starring right into the plain open field that was around the Burrow. I looked pretty windy out and dark. I started to get this weird feeling about tonight, like something bad was going to happen and that we weren't safe here. 

"Sweetheart." Tonks said to dad, another thing that I have been noticing is that they were now calling each other names such as 'sweetheart, darling, love'. I want to ask them if there is something going on between them but I almost feel weird asking that.  I don't know what I would even say to them. 

Then all of a sudden a ball of fire came down and circled the entire Burrow. A black smoke came down as well and out from it came Bellatrix Lestrange. So much hatred rushed through me as she was the one who killed my father last year. As she ran out of a small opening in the fire, Harry pushed past us all and started chasing after her. I ran after him and followed Ginny. I was ignoring all the calls from Fred, George, Dad, Tonks, Molly and Arthur. I wanted to give her what was coming for killing my father last year.  She deserves it. 

"I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black! You coming to get me? Harry, can you get me? You coming to get me!" Bellatrix's voice cackled. I started running full force to the sound of her voice.  I ran into an opening where Ginny and Harry were as well.  Dad, Arthur and Tonks all came here as well as there have to be at least some death eaters around her. Plus how did Bellatrix Lestrange even know that we were here? Have they been spying on us? 

Then all of a sudden two clouds of black smoke went up from the tall grass and went towards the Burrow. I then heard some glass shatter and some cries. I looked over to where the Burrow was and saw something that I wish I would never have saw. I can't believe it, how did this happen? 

"Molly." Arthur said. 

"Fred." I said as I started running back to the Burrow followed by everyone. 

I ran towards Fred, as everyone else was outside of the Burrow watching it. I took Fred into a hug as he cried into my hair. "George." I said as he came over and cried into my neck.  "It's alright, it's going to be okay, I promise you boys that." I said even though I don't know exactly what I was promising. 

Bill held onto Fleur tightly, all the other Weasley kids were watching the sight as well. Molly was crying into Arthur's arms. I looked back at the sight. The Burrow was in flames, and it was gone. A second childhood home to me, it was gone. I was crying into Fred's chest as I couldn't believe what I had just saw. 

Now I really want to kill Bellatrix Lestrange.
