"Alright Avengers" a bald tanned man wearing an eyepatch that covered his right eye which has a scar on it. He wore a trench coat that covers his soldier uniform that has a logo of a falcon.
"S.H.I.E.L.D. intel, along with Thor, has determined that Loki had stolen the Tesseract once again has been found near the Empire State building" he informed a group of superheroes that were waiting silently on his orders. "We may suspect that Loki will use it to start the Chitauri invasion all over again!"
"Seriously, those guys again" a man in a red and golden suit of armor asked incredulously and in a cocky tone. "To be fair, we can beat those guys again."
"Focus Iron Man" a woman in a black tracksuit with spy gadgets and crimson hair scolded the hero.
"Ahem, anyways, our agents have already evacuated the civilians in case Loki opened the portal again" the tanned man continued. "We also have heroes and agents by the borders of New Jersey in case some of the Chitauri ever escaped your sight. So, our main mission is to try to draw back the Chitauri long enough for reinforcements to arrive without having the government to drop a nuke on the city!"
"Yes, sir" a blonde man wearing a blue superhero outfit, with a red and white shield with a star in the middle, nodded. Just before they can depart, a secretary rushed towards the tanned man.
"Director Nick Fury, you need to read this" she shouted as she handed him the tablet.
"Let me see here" he begin to read it as his eyes grew wide before coughing to regain his composure. "Avengers, intel has discovered that Loki also has some kind of artifact in his hand."
He grabbed a remote from his pocket and pressed a button as a screen came out of nowhere which now shows an image of a purple oval device. On it, it has three colored spheres: one was blue; another was yellow; and the last one was magenta. Each of them had arrows pointing to each other which resembles a triangle and there were strange markings on it.
"What the in the name of Odin is that" a bearded man wearing Scandinavian armor while also wielding a hammer asked.
"We don't know Thor" Nick Fury responded. "We just got intel of it right now and we don't know what that thing does. I advise you all to proceed with caution if you are about to engage with Loki, understand?"
"Yes Director Nick Fury" a man with a stripped buttoned vest under a purple shirt, wearing jeans nodded.
"Avengers, dismissed" he announced the meeting to be over as the group of superheroes hurried towards the Empire State Building.

At the same time...
Across where the meeting took place, right across from where the Empire State Building was located, a blue vortex opened up as Ryze was the first to exit the portal before moving out of the way. The next person to get out was Ruby Rose, who stumbled on the landing followed by her sister Yang. Then General Mayhem landed safely thanks to her jetpack before Weiss and Blake were the last ones to arrived as they landed on top of each other. The vortex then closed itself as the group recovered from the journey.
"Where the heck are we" Blake rubbed her head as Weiss helped her up.
"Looks like we're in some kind of city, almost similar to Vale I presume" Yang guessed.
"Yet, most of these buildings seems so unfamiliar along with that tall one right over there" Ruby pointed towards the Empire State Building.
"Actually, that's the Empire State Building" General Mayhem corrected Team RWBY. "I believe we are in the 'NYC.'"
