Summer of Hope~ Tom Holland

Part 3

Just seconds after stepping through the doors of The Red Lion, Tom's eyes were drawn to the gorgeous young woman stood behind the bar. He watched her as she laughed along in conversation with who he assumed was her colleague, immediately stunned by her beauty.

Harrison wandered over to the two ladies, catching their attention as they quickly switched to their work persona. Tom followed Harrison after receiving directions as to where the group would be situated for the evening. In this moment, Tom found himself staring at the girl once again, while purposely sitting himself at the large table, in the position where he had the perfect view of the bar.

Throughout the evening, Tom would drift off from the conversations his fellow cast mates we're having, only to find himself fantasizing over the woman he clearly found attractive who was now sat at the barstools. Every so often she would come and check on the table to see if anyone needed anything, and each time, Tom's feelings grew even more, if that was even possible.

It was coming to around nine o'clock when Tom finally engaged deeply in conversation with Zendaya who was sat closest to him.

"Dude, don't think we haven't noticed the way you've been looking at the bar maid since we got here, go ask her out or something already!" Zendaya exclaims with slight frustration over Tom's lack of confidence.

"What? I don't know what you're going on about haha" Tom replies while trying to cover up his obvious feelings but failing horribly.

"Mhm sure. So that's not why you've been the slightest bit distracted this evening? You were fine in the car, must be a coincidence then..." The actress leads on, knowing that her response would make Tom crack and admit how he truly felt.

Tom buries his head in his arms, that are resting on the table in front of him. He lets out a sigh and lifts his head up.

"So what should I do then?"

Zendaya grins with excitement as she starts plotting ideas for Tom to introduce himself.

"I knew it! Ok so what you're gonna do is go up to the bar and order two drinks. Then while she pours them, make some general conversation, compliment her or make her laugh so she gets into you. When she hands you your drinks, give one back for her and there ya go! If that doesn't work, I don't know what will." She smiles to herself, feeling proud of the master plan she just came up with.

"Thanks Zendaya, wish me luck!"

Tom starts getting nervous for what he's about to do. Considering his job involves putting him in different situations, he had never been in one like this before- he had to impress the woman who he had been day dreaming about all evening...
