🌨Since we're headng into shippuden, Y/n and Gaara will both be 19 now.🌨
"When are these fools going to show up I'm itching for a fight.." Y/n hung her arms off the Kazekage tower with Gaara looking up at the night sky next to her. "Anytime now, if our estimation is right." "Hey Gaara.." "Hm?" "You're looking hot!" "D-don't say things like that right now!" Gaara pinched a giggling Y/n's cheek.
Y/n had grown a lot after she had gotten her team, she started to interact with the villagers and soon became popular. Of course Y/n had developed a lot with her curves and skills throughout the years. She also had changed her style,
Y/n wore a [f/c] cropped shirt with [s/f/c] combat pants and black gloves because Y/n thought they looked cool along with black sandals, Y/n didn't know where to place her headband so she customized the metal part of the headband to be on the chest part of her [f/c] shirt. (Gaara doesn't like it but supports Y/n choice)
"Do you think we'd be able to win?" "It 70/50, there's a chance that they know our weakness and could use that against that but we can outnumber them with skill and manpower.." Y/n stretched as she saw the view of a large bird sorrowing through the sky, "Our guests of honor have arrived," "Then let's give them a good show." Y/n had prevented all those bomb spiders from going off on their lookout with her magma burning them into ashes.
'So this must be Deidara, Itachi had already informed me of his moves so explosives are his speciality.' Y/n had made sure that no one was injured while Gaara had already to start to attack Deidara. "I'll join into the fun!" Y/n shot up a couple of long ropes of magma from the ground wrapping the around the bird slightly swaying Deidara from the bird. Sadly her attempt was in vain when the bird let the manga ropes burn through it and slipped back to normal.
"So mission failed hm, but at least we don't have to search for the two of you anymore!" Deidara backed away breathing more explosive birds in his hands, though Gaara and Y/n didn't wait for him to attack. They both stood at opposite ends with a huge wave ready to head towards his way. "Ah! An ingenious use of the topography, at least an audience worthy of my art!" Y/n looked at him confused as she glared him down with her Rinnegan ready to strike.
He started to fly away with Gaara chasing after him, Y/n had sensed something off about the situation. 'Gaara seems to have the situation handled I'll go check on the entrance since Itachi said that the akatsuki always travel in pairs. Y/n ran off and headed into the small hallway and saw rumble and injured shinobi with some being crushed under the rocks.
