"Hold on, I still love u"

Damian's PoV:

My mind stopped functioning and the only thing I could focus on was to catch her before she hit the ground. I leapt into the air and finally after what seemed to be after a million years I wrapped my arms around her and cuddled her close to me while I landed on my back.

A few seconds passed and all I could hear and feel was my heavy breathing and Eleonora's small arms wrapping around me as I held her tightly to me chest. This was the moment I realised that I never saw her once in my whole life.

Slowly I unwrapped her from myself and steadied her on my arms. She protested and whimpered when I lifted her, maybe thinking that I would let her go but little did she know that she would no longer have to stay away from her father.

I finally saw her face and tears blinded my vision. There she is, fully covered in dust but still beautiful. She had my wife's nose and my eyes. It was at this moment I wanted to slap myself for letting her go. What would I have done if Ash put her up for adoption? I wouldn't have felt this warm feeling ever again.

"Damian common let's go it's not safe here anymore" I was woken up from my trance when I saw my mom looking at me with a sad smile playing on her lips. "Mom she's so precious" I whispered. "I know son, common let's go now" I woke up carefully so as to not disturb Nora.

We walked out of the room and saw that my dad was walking towards us. "Oh thank god, she's alright." Upon listening to his voice, Nora looked towards him and stared at him with awe. My father laughed "hello baby, welcome back home". By this time we were outside and Ash came running towards us.

"Oh my goodness Elenor don't scare your uncle Ash again baby. I can't handle if something happens to me" he said with tears in his eyes. Nora looked towards him and wrapped her hand around his huge finger and put it in her mouth. All of us laughed. 

All my men saw her and were in awe about how such a beautiful baby she was. Most of them even whispered about how small and precious she was and how they would protect her. After months, I finally smiled a full blown smile and was finally happy.

Everything was going well, but suddenly Nora's head fell backwards and her hold on Ash's finger loosened. My heart stopped beating and the smiles on everyone's faces dropped. "Hurry her to the hospital Damian" my mom shouted.

I quickly got into one of the cars and Zayn took the wheel, while I was screaming for Nora to wake up. Zayn literally drove with the highest speed and we jumped many signals but all I cared was about my baby. "Nora please wake up, I can't loose you again" I whispered.

We reached the hospital and as soon as I barged into the hospital people recognised me because I own legal businesses too. "Someone get me a doctor for my daughter" I yelled. A nurse came trembling and asked me to fill out a form while she called the doctor. I called out Zayn to do it while I followed her.

"Doctor Naina, it's an emergency and you have to come ASAP" the nurse paged someone. The doctor said something and the nurse answered some of the questions. "Can you all please hurry up, my daughter's life is at stake" my voice literally sounded harsh. But at this moment all I cared about was my daughter.

"We understand that you are worried sir but please lower down your voice" came a sweet yet firm voice behind me. I turned around to see a really pretty woman in her mid 20's. I was about to open my mouth but she gave me a stern look and took Nora out of my hands and began inspecting her.

"Oh my goodness you poor thing" she murmured. She began ordering the nurses about what to do and she turned to me and said "her respiratory system is infected and her spinal system is affected, we need to do an emergency surgery ASAP!!" "Do whatever u want but keep her safe" my voice was cracking.

She nodded and gave me a sad smile and wheeled Nora into the ICU. My tears were falling freely now and the doors barged open to reveal Ash and my parents. Zayn told them what happened and my mom started crying. Ash banged his fist to the wall and yelled "why the fuck does she have to suffer every single time".

But all that was going through my mind was asking god to keep her safe.
