Damian's PoV:

She looked at us with wide eyes and meanwhile the guy tried to escape and she knocked him unconscious with a snap.

I can't believe this. How can she be alive? Why was she hiding? Is this even true?

Before I can think more Nora looked up and saw her too. Her eyes lit up and she reached out to Jules.

Jules gave her a sad smile and tried to reach out too, but I moved back. My eyes reflected how angry I was and my hands were balled up in fists.

How dare she make us both go through all that? Does she even know how much we've suffered? How much Nora was effected?

"Woah, woah dude, I can see those gears churning in your head. I am not Jules. Don't worry your wife hasn't fooled you, she was really suffering."

"Explain. Now!" Was the only thing I could get out. She was right, she wasn't Jules. Jules had an American accent and this woman had a British one. She also doesn't have a scar above her left eyebrow.

The girl took what was a very long breath and paced around for a bit while I was standing there trying to find a suitable explanation why every weird thing occurs to us.

She finally looked towards me and motioned towards the door as to follow her.

What is even wrong with me? I was running a mafia and obeying the commands as if I was a dog. But whatever, I wanted to know the truth.

After settling on one of the tables she looked at Nora who was still looking at her with fascination. She gave her a sad smile and looked towards me with determination? Hope?

"Okay so I guess I should get this over with. I am Amara Russo. But you might know me with the name, Reaper."

My eyes widened and I immediately stood up so fast, knocking the chair out in the process. Reaper or Amara just looked at me with a frown.

Everyone in this world has a fear irrespective of how strong and cold they are. To the mafia world, Reaper is like a wave of tsunami that can make your world and break your enemy in a matter of few seconds.

Why you might ask? Because armed with her hypnosis power and mind controlling abilities, paired with the support of several armies of the world, she's a force to be reckoned.

And let's just say that I am not fond of staying in the same room as her with my daughter in the way.

She exhaled a long sight and looked up with determination. "Look I am not here to hurt any of you. In fact Jules made me promise to protect Elenora. She means a lot to me, and there is no way that I am gonna let anyone hurt my niece."

"Niece?" I was actually confused, but still kept my distance. Can't risk getting brain washed.

She gave me a blank look "Are you sure that you run a mafia? How do you think me and your wife look similar? We are twins!"

That makes sense. I looked down to see Nora twisting and turning, trying to reach Amara. I sighted, this girl can't keep here self out of trouble.

I gave up and finally let her go. Amara reached out to her and when she finally had her, she hugged her tightly while Nora was blabbering something.

When she finally finished hugging Nora, she removed something from her neck. Wait! Isn't that the de genero pendant? Woah! There were only two of them in the world.

I looked at her with wide eyes but before I could say anything she lifted her head up and said no.
"There is a reason why I am giving this to Nora. She's the true descendant for this pendant. It's said that the Ancestors made this using some special jewels that protect her from anything harsh. Moreover who ever has this pendant will be protected from a majority mafias and armies. I was actually on my way to you all to meet her, but glad I found you here."

I took Nora from her and looked at her warily. Nora was almost asleep. This kid is so lucky, eat-sleep and repeat.

"Oh and by the way I am coming with you, back to your mansion. Need to ensure my niece is protected."

Why god? Why? Now I have to deal with not only Nora being safe but keeping myself safe from Amara too.
