Harry pulled up to Erin's house and switched off the engine.

Neither of them said anything for a moment. Not really knowing how to end their day together.

"So... this is me." Erin decided to break the silence.

"Erin... it's been lovely today. Thanks for humouring and trusting me. Was nice to have someone else there." Harry twisted in his seat so that he was facing her.

Erin smiled. She had the sudden urge to place her hand over his, so she did it before she overthought it too much.

It earned her a puzzled look but it quickly turned into a smile.

"Thank you for inviting me. See you soon?" She let the question linger. She wanted nothing more than to see him again.

"I hope so." He mumbled back, his lips forming into a smile once again.

Erin turned her face away to hide her blush, then quickly opened the door and got out.

She stood there for a moment, just looking at him through the open window.

"Oh Harry?" she called.

"Yeah?"

"You better reply to that text."

Harry smiled and shook his head before waving at her and driving away.

Why didn't you invite him in Erin? Stupid!

Erin shook away her thoughts and made her way through the gate and into her house.

"ARE YOU JOKING?!" Becca shouted.

"Okay you're gonna have to lower your tone because I'm pretty sure the whole of London heard you!" Erin laughed.

Becca had popped round to Erin's, as she'd left her jacket there last time. Liza and Loz were both at work.

They were both in the kitchen, Erin on one side of the counter and Becca sat on a stool on the other.

"NO WAY! YOU HAD A DATE WITH HARRY!" Becca continued to shout, ignoring Erin's words.

"Okay... if you don't quiet down I won't tell you the details!"

Becca quickly stopped and composed herself. She loved a good gossip.

"Sorry. Please tell me everything! Omg Erin this is huge. You haven't liked anyone since Finn and that was a year ago." Becca beamed.

Erin froze at the mention of Finn. Becca knew that Erin never really liked to talk about him, yet here she was, bringing him up again like at the bar.

"I don't wanna talk about Finn. You know I don't." Erin mumbled.

Becca softened again. Erin hadn't really said much about Finn since they broke up. They didn't even know the full story but didn't want to push. She'd tell them when she was ready.

"I'm sorry. I just got excited because you deserve to be happy. By the looks of it Harry is making you happy." Becca smiled fondly at her friend.

As soon as she walked in, she could tell something was different. Erin seemed less tense. Her demeanour was different.

"I know. I want to be honest with you all. I really do. It's just...hard."

Becca nodded. She reached over and grabbed Erin's hand in hers.

"It's okay. You tell us when you're ready."

Erin smiled back at her friend. She'd known Becca the longest. She was the first friend she made when she moved here from Wiltshire.
