It's like everything had shifted.
Erin felt that massive weight on her shoulders lift. Physically she felt ten times lighter and mentally too. All of that baggage she'd kept hidden away for so long, was finally addressed and taken care of.
There was now room for other things. New memories she could make with her friends and family. But also Harry. Harry was a huge help through it all. He deserved a place in Erin's memories, and a place in her heart.
Currently she was at work, her week holiday had come to a close so she had to head back to the shop. She was helping one of the regular customers pick out some flowers.
"Erin... I hope you don't mind me saying but you seem different." Rachel chimed as she looked around at the buckets of flowers.
"That's okay. I do feel different. I've had an epiphany of sorts." Erin replied. As she wrote down Rachel's requirements.
"Well... I'm glad. You seem happy."
"I am. I... met someone. A guy." Erin smiled.
"Ah, every great story starts with I met someone." Rachel laughed.
"Yeah.. he's pretty great. He made me rethink some aspects of my life that I'd ignored. So I faced them head on. Now I'm here!"
"Good for you Erin! I know we don't know each other properly but I've been coming here for well over a year now and it's clear to see. You've changed and for the better it looks like." Rachel clapped her hands together.
Erin smiled in response. Her eyes welling up at Rachel's kind words. To have someone come out and say these things to her meant everything. For someone to physically see the change in her must mean it had done her some good.
Deciding to come clean and let go was the best decision Erin had ever had. She stood by it and by everyone for letting her do so.

"You promised you'd behave!" Erin whined as she gathered Becca, Loz and Liza in the kitchen.
Erin had set up an evening for dinner with them. But also Harry. He'd become a big part of her life now so her friends needed to get to know him too, and not just as Harry Styles either. As the kind-hearted, beautiful soul that he is.
"Not once did I say I'd behave. We're grilling him for all we've got aren't we guys?" Loz teased. The other two nodded as they sipped on their wine.
"I'm already regretting this." Erin mumbled as turned to stir the sauce in the pan.
From the hall they heard the doorbell, signifying that Harry was here.
They all glared at each other before running to be the first to get the door. Stumbling and tripping over each other.
Luckily Erin got a head start so made it first. Quickly straightening herself up and opening the door.
"Hey you." She cooed. Harry was on the doorstep holding a bottle of wine.
"Hey. For you." He smirked as he held out the bottle.
Erin glanced down at the label then smirked back once she read it.
Cherry Wine. Should've guessed.
"Hey Loz, Becca and Liza. Nice to see you again." He then directed his attention to the three of them stood behind Erin. All trying to act casual but dying on the inside.
