Anniversaries were something Erin hadn't really experienced with Finn. He'd always forget or not be bothered by them. Of course Erin was too in love with him at the time to even question it.

She had a feeling Harry was a little different though. Wanting to celebrate the occasion.

They'd only been together for a month but it felt like longer. They'd already shared and experienced so much together.

"So what're the plans? I'm sure H has got some tricks up his sleeve?" Liza cooed.

"I'm not sure to be honest. It's not a big deal. It's only a month." Erin replied casually.

"Erin. A month for you is a big deal. You need to celebrate the small victories." Liza continued.

The two of them had met for lunch. Loz and Becca were busy at work so couldn't make it.

"Hmm... I know you're right. I'm just so used to not making a big deal out of this stuff."

"Just because that vile excuse for a human treated you the way he did, doesn't mean you don't deserve to be spoilt. He's rotting in a jail cell and you're out here Erin. Living, enjoying life with your super hot rockstar boyfriend." Liza smiled.

"He is super hot." Erin mumbled.

"Like super hot and it's actually spooky how attractive he really is."

Liza knew Erin didn't like to talk about the past that much. She'd done it once and wanted to move on. So she didn't dwell on what Erin had just said. Choosing to change the subject.

"Whatever you do. I know Harry will make it special. He's a keeper that one."

The day had come. Their one month anniversary. Erin hadn't heard from Harry though. They'd both been super busy and never managed to catch each other at the right times.

Messages were left unread and calls were missed constantly.

Erin couldn't help but feel a little deflated by this. Of course he's a busy man and she knew this.
However, her expectations were quite high for what Harry would do.
After what Liza had said she really felt as though he would do something special.

Erin even brought Harry a gift. It was sat in a little gift box on her dresser. Just waiting to be given. It felt as though it would be sitting there for a while though. As soon as she saw it in the shop she knew it would be perfect.

A knock at the door brought Erin back from her thoughts.

Who is that? Maybe it's Harry?! No he would've messaged or called first. Maybe this is the surprise?

Erin scolded herself for getting her hopes up. Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed. A mantra she'd learnt to live with.

She made her way to the front door and cautiously opened it.

She recognised the man straight away. It was Jeff. Harry's manager. They hadn't met officially but Erin recognised him from photos.
