Im back with another chapter wohoo!
Chapter Eight
AvaWell, if you're wondering what the hell happened yesterday, let me tell you.
I ended up falling asleep from the exhaustion of pulling knives out of the walls and fixing it. How i fixed it? I simply stuffed cardboard pieces inside the holes and then painting them the same colour as the rest.
Let's thank YouTube for that.
But i would agree that falling asleep without my pills is something completely irrational.
Which is why i got a horrible nightmare yesterday...
"h-hello?" The small child whispered clearly frightened by the darkness that surrounded every inch of the empty room.
The small girl looked around helplessly and tried calling for help again- much firmer now. "hello!?"
Silence, is all she heard for the next few hours. She wondered in that small brain of hers when her mom will come for her rescue- her step-dad even. She wondered if anyone will come. Even the maid her mom assigned to help her stepfather David.
She sat in the silence, knees pulled under her chin as she was lost in thought, thinking about the wedding day that held place in the fancy ballroom, her long white dress that reached her ankles making her look like a princess. Her thoughts wandered to her new father, she doesn't have the best relationship with him, hence the ugly looks he keeps giving her and the occasional shoving.
Her thoughts wandered once again to her father and brothers. She misses Leonardo the most, her mom kept repeating that they don't want to see her but the little girl has hope, and a lot too. Even thought it's been over 10 months.
The little girls thoughts where interrupted by a slamming of a door making her squirm in fear and she pushed herself back even more- if that's even possible.
A stumbling man entered holding a bottle of alcohol which she recognised as vodka. She may be 8 years old, almost 9 but she was way too smart for her age.
She knew at that moment that she was screwed, her mom was on a business trip and the maid was off work for the day. She cowered in fear as the man who she now recognise as David, her stepfather stumbled towards her stopping right in front of her.
She took a deep breath "h-hello d-david" she knew she was testing the waters as she uttered his name. She knew very well.
