Those words kept going through Gabriella's head like a flashback the entire time she and Clarke were walking back to Camp Jaha.
To say that she wasn't Finn's biggest fan would be an understatement but she couldn't just give him to the grounders without hesitation. He was one of her people and he was important to the people that were important to her. So as much as she wanted peace with the grounders, they couldn't give him up.
"Hold your fire! They're back." she recognized Bellamy's voice order when they reached the gates of camp. Wells was the first to reach the gates, opening them and letting Gabriella and Clarke enter camp.
"Are you two okay?" Wells asked, looking between the blondes.
"Shut the gate." Gabriella ordered the guards as Clarke silently kept her sad eyes on Wells.
Finn coming closer seemed to catch Clarke's eye and she brushed past Wells to grab a hold of his shoulders "You can't be out here."
The Collins boy allowed Clarke to pull him into camp and Gabriella, Wells and Bellamy didn't waste any time following the two further into Camp Jaha and away from the gates.
Abby pulled her daughter into a short hug before looking between her and Gabriella "What did she say? Is there a chance for a truce?"
Gabriella saw Clarke's hesitant expression so she chose to answer "Yes, but I think we should talk about this somewhere more private."
"What's wrong?" Finn asked in concern, his eyes solemnly on Clarke.
"They want you. If we want the truce we have to give them Finn." the youngest Griffin answered, completely ignoring what her female co-leader previously said.
