It's been a week since Skids family adopted pump after learning about his home situation. They were currently fighting over cereal. "But you were the last one to touch the lucky charms!" Pump pointed out. "But I haven't had cereal in days!" Skid refuted. They continued to bicker until Lila had to step in. "Calm down boys! There's no need to fight!" They glared at each other but stopped fighting.

Even though pump was adopted, skid still treated him like a brother. "Awww man! I'm one coin short for this game!" Pump whined. Skid quickly fished out a coin from his pocket. "Here you go pump!" Pumps eyes lit up. "Thank you skid!!" He hugged him tightly before quickly running to the game to play. After they spent all their coins, it was time to exchange their tickets for prizes. Pump ended up getting a spooky light up pumpkin plush, while skid got a skeleton doll that, when you pull it's string, it says a spoooky message.

They did everything together. They were absolutely inseparable. Joined at the hip. If one went one way, the other followed. They would watch spooky movies together too. They were watching a "rated R movie." Mom always says we're not allowed to watch these. They secretly bought one at the store with some of skids piggy bank money. But Mom wasn't here right now.

They popped the disc into the player and let it run. They were fine for the first part of the movie, and ignoring the swear words. (There were lots of them!) Then it reached the middle. A woman was killed on screen. They both screamed along with her. Skid hung on to pump, awaiting the next scary thing that was going to happen next. Pump was doing the same.

By the end of the movie, they were more than terrified. They both had trouble heading to bed because they were shaking so much. They didn't even bother taking the disc out. They had to leave the lamp on. They were hugging each other for reassurance. Eventually, they fell asleep. They were up until 1 am watching it. Way longer than their normal bedtime.

The next day, they were heavily scolded by Lila, but she took it a bit easier on them since she could tell they were still quite shaken up. "How about this. I'll take you both to get some spooky Ice cream to take your mind off things." Lila offered. They cheered up a little after hearing that. "Let's get some spooky Ice cream!!" They said in unison.
