You had just moved to this small town about a week ago. You and your parents finished packing yesterday, and you went out for a walk to get to know your town a little better. You checked your phone, 1:24 in the afternoon. You figured after, you could hang out at the park. The town wasn't very big, so it will probably just be about a 30 minute walk to get around the entire neighborhood.

You passed tons of nice houses, and marked a few places you wanted to check out later, like gensomooru, a big store that supposedly had everything, and the candy store. From the glass windows, you could see a man at the desk. He obviously didn't like his job very much, so you decided to come back later and try to cheer him up.

You finally got to the park, and you say down on the bench. That was a surprisingly long walk. You looked around at the people there. Tons of kids with their parents, or playing on the equipment. But two specific kids caught your eye. They looked to be wearing a skeleton, and pumpkin costume? Last time you checked, it was august. A bit too early for Halloween.

They noticed you staring at them. They whispered something to each other before heading over your way. You tried to look down, but before you could, they were already in front of you. These kids are fast! The skeleton spoke up first. "Hi! I'm skid, and this is pump! We've never seen you around before, who are you?" He spoke so fast, it took you a second to process what he said. "Oh, I'm y/n. Nice to meet you skid and pump." Skid openly gasped when he heard your name. "What a cool name! Right pump?" Pump smiled and agreed.

"Oooooh! Wanna have a sleepover? It'll be fuuun!" Skid tried to persuade me. You thought about it. It would be nice to have some friends around here. They seem fun to hang out with too. Besides, your age gap wasn't too big, they looked to be around 8, and you were eleven. You nodded your head. "That sounds great actually, sure." Skids eyes practically had stars in them. "Really? Thankyouthankyouthankyou! I promise, it will be the most fun you'll ever have in your life! We'll celebrate the spooky month, watch spooky movies, and so many other spooky things!"

You weren't exactly sure what spooky month exactly was, but it looked like skid really enjoyed it, and so did pump. "So, when am I coming over?" You asked. "Tonight, at 5 pm!" Skid said. "Sounds like a deal. I'm sure my parents won't mind. See you soon!" You waved goodbye to them. They waved back, and you headed your way towards home. It was already 3 pm, you only had two hours to pack and relax.

You quickly headed home. By the time you finished packing your toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, pajamas, and clothes, it was already 4:13. Time passed quickly, and before you knew it, it was 4:50. You should start heading over there.

You realized they never gave you their address, so you walked around the neighborhood trying to look for theirs. Luckily for you, they were standing outside waiting for you. You rushed towards them, and greeted them. "Here she comes, skid!" Pump exclaimed. "Hi y/n!" Skid yelled. Suddenly, a woman comes from the house. "Skid, please stop yelling...hello, y/n! Skid and pump have told me a lot about you! Come in!" She invited me inside.

Once inside, I looked around. It was a pretty nice house. There were countless pictures on every wall. Most of them having a long haired kid in them. "I'll take your stuff. My name is Lila! I'm skids mom. Nice to meet you." She extended her hand. I shook it. "Nice to meet you too Lila!" I said. She took my stuff and put it in another room. Skid tugged on my hand. "C'mon, let's go do something! There's tons of fun things to do around here!" Skid and pump practically drag me out of the house.

"Let's go to the store! I don't have much money, but maybe we can get something spooky!" Pump suggested. They strolled over to gensomooru. The inside was huge. Pump had enough money to buy all three of us cute plushies. Once we got out of the store, we went to the candy place. Another place I also wanted to go to.

We walked through the glass doors. The guy at the desk seemed to audibly sigh before he even saw who came in. He seemed a little surprised when he saw me. "Three candy cans please!" Skid and pump said in unison. "Sorry kids, but you have to pay this time. Last time I gave you guys free stuff,I got in trouble with the manager. And don't forget you owe me for the 'sugar' incident." The guy went on. You fished In your pocket and pulled out a five dollar bill and some change. You slid it onto the counter. "Is this enough?" You ask. He nods. He hands us the bags of candy, and we went on our way.

"Thank you so much for paying for us y/n!" Skid thanked. "Yeah, thank you very much!" Pump added. "It's not a problem! The least I can do is buy us candy since you invited me to your house." We made it to the house. By now, it was 7:00. We came in.

"Hey mom, can we watch something?" Skid yelled into the kitchen. "Sure sweetie, which one? The usual?" She asked. Skid nodded. She put the movie on, and we started watching. Lila even made us popcorn! It was a really good movie. After we were done, we were all tired. We made our way to our rooms. Mine was in the guest bedroom. I plopped down on the surprisingly comfortable bed. I changed Into my pajamas, and fell asleep immediately.
