(OCXJASONGRACE)
REVENGE FALLS TO GRACE
-Jason laid in his bed, his mind not letting go of the recent dream he had. He could remember the dampness of the walls, the overgrown vines that crept out of the holes. He could even hear the water dripping down slowly from the small pipes. In front of him stood a figure he had remembered Leo talking about. Nemesis.
He watched as she walked around the room they were in. He stood frozen in place, forced to stay silent and listen to the click of her shoes echo throughout the room. "Ah... Mr. Grace." She started, her voice deep and cynical. A small laugh managed to rip between her lips. Her thin, bloody red lips. "You remember me?" She asked, soon looking towards him. "My daughter, Mira, told you about me."
That name stung in his chest more than he would have liked. Mira. He remembered her all too well. Her deep blue eyes, the freckles that dusted her tan complexion, her warm laughs and enjoyable hugs. Mira helped him lead the battle on Mount Othyrs. Her courage, even in pain she fought and did all she could for the legion. He was raised as a praetor as she... got nothing.
He remembered their kiss. Her soft lips pushing up against his. The way her hands found the perfect position wrapped around his neck. He thought about the time he remembered her on his quest to save Juno. He pushed Piper away without an explanation. He closed himself off as much as he could. He needed Mira.
"What a strange name for a daughter of mine... Mira. Did you know that Mira means peace?" Nemesis asked as she grew closer, "I always envied her father for that choice." Jason didn't know if it was simply the effect Nemesis gave off or his rage, he wanted to punch her in the face and yell at her. His agitation grew the longer he stayed there. How could she let her daughter suffer? He saw where Mira was and he can't stand the reality of not being next to her. But, Nemesis didn't care.
"I don't have much time to keep you here, Grace. I did want to remind you of Mira's... predicament." A cackle filled the room. The goddess stood there for a while, breathing in the tense air of the situation. "Mira is closer to death, I am sure you know of this. But, let me remind you."
Suddenly, the goddess' face took up Jason's perspective. "Revenge falls to grace."
Jason stood at the front of the boat, his hair being blown back in the wind. His eyes loosely following the landscape below them. He soon heard a voice rack him out of his thoughts. He turned and saw Piper. Her eyes looked up at him then soon she stood behind him. Leaning against the side of the boat.
The two of them stayed quiet, Jason knew how badly he treated her. He wishes it could just be a blown over accident but... it isn't that easy. Mira would know what to do, she always did. Jason got in a fight with a centurion from the First Cohort and Mira stopped it before it could really begin. Why wasn't she here?
Below the ship an island grew into their view. Jason looked over and thought about its shape. The greenery around the mass of land. "There." Jason called up to Leo. "I need to go there!" He ordered and looked back. He grew nervous, his hands jittery and he kept chewing on the inside of his lip.
