Sorry I've been away so long. I've been unmotivated. And school. And my laptop isn't charging anymore. But in my time I was away I have either gotten better or worse at writing so that could be a thing. Also I'm just going to force myself to write more often so that also might be a thing, if my laptop doesn't die or I get it to charge again. It takes like ten minutes straight to try to get it to charge, like I have to wiggle the charger around until eventually it just starts working. And once my laptop gets fully charged the charger just stops working again so if the battery goes down again I have to spend more time trying to get it to charge so it doesn't die.

Ladybug and Chat noir. The superheroines of Paris. The all time famous duo. The most popular people in Paris. It's impossible for anyone to not know who they are. Yet, they are the hardest people to ever talk to and find. I leaned against a chimney. I have searched this city for hours looking for even just a glimpse of them. By how dark it is, I'm pretty sure it's around nine or ten. I've been out running around like a madman since school ended. That's like what? Six hours? I took a running head start and jumped over a few roofs until I came to one that was flat, and had railings. It was kind of a nice view of the city and the moon. The moon looked as if it were glowing. I sat down, with my back against the railing. I took off my cloak and set it down next to me. I closed my eyes. For a few minutes I just sat there, listening, and enjoying the peace of everything. In that moment nothing mattered. The mission. The Trix. Nick and his stupid girlfriend. Nothing. I sighed.
"It's nice here, I come here sometime to escape from everything," I heard a quiet voice saying. My eyes shot open and I hit my head against the railing.
I groaned in pain and slurred random letters as if it would help the pain. I rubbed the throbbing area with my palm.
"Are you okay?" Chat noir looked down at me in concern.
"Peachy," I sarcastically said while slightly glared at him.
"Sorry for scaring you." He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. He reminds me of someone.
"It's fine. I wouldn't have thought I'd see you here tonight." I stood up to lean on the railing. Chat did the same.
"All you have to do is call." I looked at him slightly annoyed, 'All you have to do is call', WELL MAYBE IF IT WERE THAT EASY, I WOULDN'T HAVE WASTED A TWO MONTHS LOOKING FOR YOU.
"Yeah, and what should I say when I call out. Sir Cat of curiosity? Knightly blond? Or do you have a special phone number that you just hand out to random people?" He laughed lightly. I looked down and smiled a little.
"I have a question." He changed his positions so that he was sitting on the railing.
I nodded for him to continue.
"How'd you get up here? And more importantly, why?"
"Well, there could be many different ways to get up here. And, like any sane person would do... I jumped from the last roof over. And I came here looking for you and Ladybug." I think I said it too straight forward. He almost fell off the railing, flailing his arms to keep him balanced.
"First of all, we are coming back to the me and Ladybug thing. Second of all, YOU JUMPED FROM THE OTHER ROOF?!?!?!!!" He stared at me in shock. I just nodded my head. "Do you know how dangerous that is? You could have gotten hurt, or worse!"
I waved my hand dismissing it as though it were nothing, "Relax, I know what I was doing. And don't give the speech where you say that you only do it because you have superpowers or something."
He sighed deeply before moving on to the next topic, "You were looking for me and Ladybug?"
I nodded, "Yeah, not just me though. My friends and I are here on a mission. It's kind of complicated."
"If it involves me and Ladybug you should try to make it less complicated." He got off the railing and stood, tense and on guard. He was facing me on a slant as to try to hide the fact his hand was on his baton ready to grab if I did anything that might suggest that I am his enemy. Of course he failed at trying to hide it. I suppose saying it so suddenly would cause suspicion as to if I was here to help him or be a new villain for him to defeat.
I stared at his hand on his baton and took a deep breath. I gazed over Paris again. The lights of the houses and buildings illuminated the dark city like stars. "The thing is, I'm not even sure if you'd believe me if I told you."
"I have seen crazy things in my life, I've literally seen Santa Claus and I've met an akumatized victim that consumed your fear. I'm pretty sure I can handle whatever it is you have to say." He deadpanned.
"Whatever you say, cat boy," I gave him a small forced laugh. "I.. I don't know where to begin."
"How about the start?"
"The start? The start was when the universe was created. The start was when everything was created from something. I'm no history teacher so I'm not even going to try." He stood in silence. So I continued, "You already know that magic exists. And that the miraculous' have great power. And that the Ladybug earrings and the ring of the Black Cat should never be used at once, because together that would allow the wielder a wish but at a cost. What you don't know is how I know that, and how my friends know that. And I assume you didn't know that there are also other types of magic besides the miraculous." Everything in my mind is running at a million miles per hour just trying to figure out what to say, and what order to tell them in. I'm just terrible at trying to explain things on the spot, I should have made flash cards. And at this point he seemed more confused than on guard.
"Yeah, there are lots of superheroes all over the world. Like in New York with KnightOwl and the superhero that can open doors to places all over the world."
"Yeah, but different from that. In my world, there are... wizards and fairies and witches and unicorns and dragons and mermaids and pixies."
"Let me guess, is Harry Potter there too? I can't believe I didn't get into Hogwarts! And I was sooo sure that I was a wizard too." He mocked.
My eyes shot daggers at him as I started to walk away from him, "I told you, you wouldn't understand." If he was going to mock me I was going to mock him back. I coughed to cover up saying, "Muggle."
"If anyone is the muggle it's you," he huffed.
I was about to retort an answer when I saw a familiar figure in the distance. "That's not good," I whispered to myself.
I have to go tell the Winx. I pulled out my phone. (In the background I heard him ask what wasn't good, but I ignored him) Surely you wouldn't be able to guess what happened next, my phone was dead. Great. I'm going to need the Winx's help to defeat the Trix. I can't do it alone, and I can't do it with someone who can't even see that I'm not his enemy. I looked into the distance again, this time I noticed that there was only one person. My luck is terrible, it's Icy. Fighting her is the worst, our spells barely even affect each other.
I turned to Chat Noir, "Hey, so I have this thing I gotta do, can we like to meet up later. It's been exhausting trying to find you. I'll meet you at the Eiffel tower on the top floor." Before he had a chance to respond I darted away to go find the Winx. I just have to hope that he'll meet me there and we can convince him to be on our side. And that the Trix won't find him before we can talk to him.
I'm supposed to be reading The Goblet of Fire, but I have so many books to read and series to complete, I can't finish it. I feel like this is the climax of the book. I'm in between having like filler chapters because I like working on this and I don't really want it to end, but I have other stories that I could work on. But this is my first one and like I'd like to think it's not that terrible so far.
