The next day after practice, Kenma walked Kuroo to the station to see him off, even though he wasn't gonna be gone for too long.

"So is Akaashi on his way here, too? Or is he coming tomorrow?" Kuroo asked as they got to the station.

"Tomorrow. He said that he's got a project that's due on Monday and he wanted to get as much of it done today before he came over." Said Kenma.

Kuroo nodded his head, "Well, guess I better get going before I miss my train," he tucked a lock of Kenma's hair behind his ear before continuing, "see ya!"

"See ya." He watched as Kuroo walked away in the direction of his train, hoping he wasn't blushing because of the contact. Why do I keep feeling like this? Is this what feeling "touch starved" that Taketora keeps talking about? What the hell is wrong with me? Maybe I can talk about this with Akaashi; maybe he can help me.

The next day, Kenma showed up at the train station at 11am waiting for Akaashi to arrive to walk him back to his place. The walk was a bit awkward at first until Akaashi broke the silence with small talk. "So are you planning on growing your hair out?" Asked Akaashi.

"Hm? Oh, yeah, I guess. Not sure how long I want it yet. Why?"

"No reason; are you using the right products to take care of it so it can grow healthy?" Akaashi asked.

"I think so? I overheard some girls in a class talking about hair and what they use, and seeing how their hair looks good I kinda took some notes." Kenma explained.

"Oh. Do you mind if I touch your hair? When we get inside, I mean." He inquired.

Uhh, that was unexpected, especially for him. "Sure, I guess." He slowed to a stop and turned to Akaashi, "Well, this is my place. My parents are out visiting relatives so they won't be home until much later."

"Okay." Akaashi walked inside behind Kenma, "Have you eaten yet?"

"Uh, yeah." Technically not a lie.

Akaashi didn't have to look around too much to find what remained of an instant lunch and a bag of chips on top of the trash can. "Kenma, you and I both know that an instant lunch and chips doesn't count as a meal."

Kenma avoided making eye contact.

Akaashi gave him a slight worried look while he wasn't looking. "Hey, I didn't get a chance to eat much before I got here because I didn't want to miss the train, so do I have your permission to make something for the both of us? I won't make anything fancy, just something to keep us alive, ya' know?"

"Uh, sure. Go for it."

"Is there a corner store nearby? I don't feel right using or eating other people's food when they're not home." He asked.

"Yeah, two blocks away. But you don't have to, I said it's fine."

"I know, I just don't feel comfortable doing so without getting permission from your parents. Hey, while we're there we can even pick up some stuff to make an apple pie later!" Said Akaashi, trying to divert the conversation from the whole "permission" topic.

Kenma couldn't help but perk up a little. "Apple pie? That's kinda random." he said, chuckling a little.

"I know, but I heard it's your favorite food, so I thought we could bake it as a thank you for having me over."

Kenma looked a bit confused. "You heard? heard from who?"

"Kuroo, he talks about you a lot. Only good things, of course."

Kuroo talks about me to other people? Why? Crap, am I blushing? Quick! Change the topic! "U-uhm, did you wanna go to the store now?"

"Sure." Akaashi said softly. Hm, something is off, but I won't push it.
