Chapter 15

Yeah, I know, sorry for not updating.

3rd Person's POV

"What was that? Plasma Void?" Ash thought as soon as the battle was finished, with a wide knowledge about Pokemon moveset, he never knew anything about Plasma Void, and he just casually called out the move.

Zeraora, after the battle was finished, reverted back to it's original form but never showed a hint of exhaustion. He looked at Ash with a proud stare.

Clemont returned back his fainted Pokemon back in it's pokeball and sighed.

"He's just too strong, isn't he?" Clemont said to himself.

The others also returned back their tired Pokemon because they already knew there's no way they'll win the match without their head battler.

"Let us all congratulate the new champion of this year's tournament, Kalos Battling Institute!"

With that, the audience went noisy and congratulated the winning school for the power that they displayed.

Diantha also came down from the stands to congratulate them.

"That was a fine battle, I never thought we won't be able to win the competition again, thanks to the three of you." Diantha acknowledged.

The other three also nodded in agreement.

"The awarding ceremony will be held now, Miss Diantha, if you could?" The commentator asked, Diantha nodded as she understood what he meant and guided them towards the stage.

The awarding ceremony went on and they claimed their prizes, as well as medals and certificates for completing the tournament and acquiring first place.

"That was a good battle Ash." Clemont commented as they walked towards the outer side of the campus.

Ash, Koharu and Leaf are about to leave the school premises because their job is done, Diantha was really thankful about them in participating the tournament and will forever be in her debt.

"I never thought Zeraora would show up out of nowhere." Ash scratched his head in embarassment.

"Now that you've said it, where is it now?" Clemont asked.

Ash just realized it now and it was never his Pokemon, he looked anywhere and saw a hint of yellow humanoid figure a distance ahead.

"Is that, him?" Koharu asked as she also saw the figure.

Without warning, Zeraora hastily charged towards Ash, attempting to use Plasma Fist on him.

BAM!

Greninja came out from it's pokeball and succeeded on protecting Ash by repelling Zeraora with it's own Night Slash.

Zeraora jumped backwards and did a battle stance.

"Wh-Wha-" Clemont and the others were flabbergasted about the sudden turn of events.

Meanwhile, Ash was slightly surprised about it but soon recovered as he quickly knew what is going on.

"Fine, Zeroara, we'll take you on so that we'll be acknowledged." Ash smirked and signalled Greninja to be ready.

Zeroara smirked and then once again charged towards Greninja with tenfolds speed. It was so fast that it couldn't be seen by just naked eye.

But to Ash and Greninja, they can completely see everything.

"Greninja, on your back, Water Shuriken." Ash quickly commanded.

Greninja's quick reflexes made him able to repel Zeraora's sneak attack by firing off Water Shuriken behind it's back, but it isn't enough to stop Zeraora and just proceeded on attacking, it managed to hit Greninja but was surprised as it just transformed into clouds.

"Use Night Slash." Out of nowhere, Greninja appeared and manage to strike Zeraora with Night Slash.

Zeroara grunted in pain and jumped backwards for safety.

"Wait, what happened? All this time it was a clone?" Clemont asked, astonished about Ash's strategy, even Leaf and Koharu was also surprised, they quickly thought Ash isn't someone to be messed with.

Zeraora smirked and fully understood why the sparks made him come towards Ash, but he will not give up that easily. Zeraora then roared loudly and blue lightning sparks surrounded him.

Ash nodded on Greninja and it understood, suddenly, vortex of water surrounded Greninja, negating and repelling the Thunderbolt that is supposedly super effective.

Zeraora gritted it's teeth and proceeded closed ranged attack, it is attempting to use Close Combat.

"Greninja, we shall use Aerial Ace." Ash commanded. Greninja nodded and then parred with Zeraora's Close Combat. The two exchanged great blows that made impacts on it's surroundings.

Both are so fast that they could only see faint hits from anywhere.

"This, this is his power, a power that can match even Mythicals and Legendaries." Koharu stated.

Clemont, and his company, Bonnie, was awestruck at the display of power, they noticed how calm Ash can be, even when battling Legendaries.

"How does Ash made himself strong?" Clemont asked.

"Who knows? It is his style on how he handles his Pokemon, maybe it's also because he has a strong aura compared to us." Leaf explained and just smiled.

"Aura?" Bonnie asked.

"Yes, Aura is our flow of life, we all have Aura, maybe Ash's is just stronger compared to us, that is why he can push his Pokemon's limits and break it." Koharu explained.

Clemont and Bonnie went silent and continued on spectating the battle.

Zeroara exchanged blows with Greninja using Plasma Fist and Close Combat, they are really in par with Greninja despite having a disadvantage.

Zeraora, thinking that it's time to end the match, decided to put all his strength in using one final Plasma Fist.

"Greninja, full transform and use Water Shuriken." Ash commanded as he sensed Zeraora's incoming attack.

Zeroara charged itself with immense lightning, his fists glowed brightly than before, same as Greninja, the vortex was now gone and it was converted with a large Water Shuriken on it's back, Greninja grabbed in from it's back and made it even larger than before.

"Go!" Ash ordered.

Zeraora unleashed his final power into it's Plasma Fist, as well as Greninja's Water Shuriken, the two attacks collided with each other and made a large cloud of dust around the surroundings, forcing Koharu and others to take cover.

"Greninja, one last Night Slash!" Ash concluded, sensing victory.

Greninja smirked, disappeared and then reappeared behind Zeraora, striking Zeraora with one final Night Slash. Zeraora groaned in pain and is now on his knees.

Zeraora smiled, this is the power of his new master, he is contented and is now devoted on protecting his master at all cost.

"Revert, Greninja." Ash said, Greninja nodded before returning back to it's original form.

"Greetings, Zeraora, I'm Ash, I hope I can be acknowledged from now on." Ash said as he offered his hands on him.

"Pleased to meet you, Master, I am now acknowledging you as my Master from now on." Zeraora said as he bowed.

"W-Wait, Master's a bit-"

"Congratulations Ash, that was a hectic display of power!" Clemont yelled from afar. The others are now heading towards them.

Ash held a Pokeball on his hand and tapped it on Zeraora's head, it was sucked in to the ball and it wiggled three times, before making a sound indicating that it was caught.

Ash smiled at that and proceeded to walked towards the others.

"He officially caught it, that is reassuring, especially the incoming danger, him and Zeraora will play a part on it." Olympia narrated as she closed her cape and walked back to her throne.
